In just a couple of days, the Historic Theatre at The Cultch will be swinging with the sounds of Beyond Category: The Music of Duke Ellington. Led by clarinetist and saxophonist James Danderfer, the Vancouver Jazz Orchestra will feature Sharon Minemoto on piano with special guest appearances by the incredible Vancouver vocalist Dawn Pemberton, Andy Hunter, of the acclaimed WDR Big Band from Cologne, and Cori Caulfield in a rare public performance in a solo dance with the orchestra.
