Hey Friend,
Quick question for you...
Do you usually eat breakfast; or are you skipping it to "save calories" ?
I ask because a recent study on young adults found something interesting - and a little counter intuitive...
People who regularly skipped breakfast had higher rates of obesity and more belly fat than those who ate breakfast consistently.
Even more interesting is men who skipped breakfast had a higher body-fat percentage and less lean muscle mass compared to men who ate breakfast regularly.
Now, this doesn't mean breakfast is magic. And it doesn't mean you have to eat first thing in the morning.
But it does highlight a pattern I see all the time in real life:
When people skip meals (especially breakfast), they often: • Under-eat protein early in the day • Struggle with energy and training performance • Get overly hungry later • Overeat at night • And have a harder time building muscle and gaining strength
That's one of the reasons old-school bodybuilding diets emphasized regular meals spaced throughout the day.
Not because it was cool or trendy - but because it supported muscle growth, recovery, and appetite control.
The truth is getting lean and muscular is NOT achieved from skipping meals or following rigid rules.
It's achieved from: ✔ Eating the right amount for your body and activity level ✔ Getting enough protein to support muscle growth ✔ Timing meals in a way that fits your lifestyle ✔ Training in a structured and progressive fashion ✔ And having a plan you enjoy and can actually stick to
