Subject: Losing Strength and Getting Weaker? ...Time to "Deload"

Lee Hayward's Total Fitness Bodybuilding Tips
Hey Friend,

Have you ever went through a training phase with your workouts where you made good strength gains for several weeks, and then got to the point where you were actually getting weaker and couldn't even match the same lifts as you did before?

When this happens most people start to freak out and get frustrated.

But you need to realize that this is just a normal part of the muscle building process. You can't keep gaining non-stop forever.

Everyone is going to have ups and downs with their progress in the gym.

When you hit a plateau like this and your strength starts to go down, it's a sign that you need to back off your training intensity and do what's known as a "Deload Phase".
