- Protein uses ~25% of its calories just to digest
- Carbs use ~10%
- Fat uses only ~3%

That means if you eat 100 calories of protein...
You only net about 75 calories after digestion.

But with fat?
You keep about 97 calories.

👉 Over time, that adds up in a big way.

This is why high-protein diets are so effective for fat loss:

✔ Boost metabolism (higher thermic effect)
✔ Reduce hunger & cravings
✔ Help preserve lean muscle

Bottom line...

If you want to lose fat and keep it off, make protein the foundation of your diet.

Not extreme dieting. Not starvation.
