Today I have something really cool to share with you, it's our latest video in the Muscle After 40 Success Story series.

And in this one I'd like to give a Big Shout Out to Bryan Bursey for not only 
getting in the best shape of his life at age 45... But for also crushing his first marathon in less than 3 hours 👌👍👏

Back in March of 2022 Bryan was not happy with how his body looked and felt. He was 30+ pounds overweight, dealing with the stress of work, a failing relationship, and to top it off - he was diagnosed with high cholesterol and put on medication.

Needless to say he had enough and decided to turn things around and make a change. That's when he reached out to me for help and came on board with the Muscle After 40 Blueprint VIP Coaching Program... That decision changed the direction of his life for the better.

Since then Bryan has lost over 30 lbs. of bodyfat and has drastically improved his health and body composition. But even more than that - he has taken his personal fitness to a whole new level and is in better shape at 45 years old than he was in his 20's.

Bryan's Fitness Transformation Journey
Bryan recently ran his First Marathon with a time of 2:58:11 (sub 3 hour marathon) and finished a very respectable 18th out of 542 in the men's 45-49 category. And he placed in the top 5% overall out of over 7000 runners in the Houston Marathon.

In addition to that, Bryan also completed a half distance Ironman Triathlon and now has a VO2 Max of a mind boggling 62...

That is superior and puts him in the top 1% for cardiovascular fitness!

Unless you're an experienced endurance athlete, you've probably never even considered your VO2 max before. But this is a measure of how efficiently your body utilizes oxygen. In Bryan's case, having a VO2 max of 62 is approximately double what would be considered a "good" VO2 max for the average man in his 40's.

There's a lot of new research now showing that having a higher VO2 max lowers your risk of all cause mortality. This is certainly a metric that you should become familiar with in your health and fitness journey.

Bryan and myself did a video interview recently and discussed the eating, exercise, and lifestyle habits that he has adopted to lose the fat and keep it off - and more importantly - get into the best shape of his life at age 45 while enjoying the process.
