 Dear Friend:

"And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees, just as things grow in fast movies, I had that familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer." — F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby

Hello from Florence, the Antique Capital of Colorado!

The new Summer Issue of Parks & Travel Magazine is here! You can read the digital copy on Calameo.com or Issuu.com, or read the same stories on our website NationalParkTraveling.com.

If you plan to go “down under” to New Zealand or Australia when global travel resumes, or perhaps just want to visit virtually, this issue features stories about both areas including Tasmania. And, from Colorado to Louisiana, California, Washington, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico, we also cover places that are reopening and/or fully re-opened. As always, the arts remain in the spotlight with stories, destinations, and artist interviews.

In mid-May, with masks on our faces and sanitizer in hand, we carefully resumed our Love Your Parks Tour. We headed north on scenic Highway 395 from California’s Mojave Desert to Northwest Nevada’s Pony Express Country, and then headed east on America’s Loneliest Highway to Colorado’s spectacular Grand Valley area. For now we’re back in southwest Colorado, working on a new series of Love Your Parks Tour digital “look books” to showcase the parks and communities we’ve visited.

We hope you come join us in our new Parks & Travel Facebook Group, where we can all connect and share our park and travel adventures.

Big Blend Radio shows air live online on Mondays & Wednesdays at 4pm PT / 7pm ET, and Fridays & Sundays at 11am PT / 2pm ET. Catch all the new and archived episodes on BigBlendRadio.com or on our broadcast platform BlogTalkRadio.com.
