 Dear Friend:

“What draws us into the desert is the search for something intimate in the remote.” Edward Abbey
As we stay sheltered-in-place at the historic Homestead Inn in Twentynine Palms, California, we have aired some Big Blend Radio interviews covering this beautiful high desert area that’s home to Joshua Tree National Park and gateway to Mojave Trails National Monument.

We’ve also been busy building our new Big Blend Community Facebook Group and we’re excited to broadcast our “Toast to Community” show this Sunday, featuring music, games, and fun conversations with some of our members. We hope you join us for the show and connect with us in the group. Speaking of Big Blend Radio, next week we’re celebrating Earth Day and National Parks Week by broadcasting nature themed shows that cover science and biology, bird and wildlife watching, and outdoor destinations around the world.
