 Dear Friend:

“If it weren't for the rocks in its bed, the stream would have no song.”
Carl Perkins

We hope you are all doing well and hanging in there through this Coronavirus “shut in” situation. Many of us have itchy feet for travel (I know we do) and miss spending time with loved ones, and are concerned with the economic future. A lot of us are spending quality time connecting on Zoom, working from home, cooking and perhaps eating more than normal, gardening, cleaning and organizing, and finally tackling that honey-do list. We’re still sheltered in place at the Homestead Inn in 29 Palms, CA. With all the recent rain, we’re thrilled to see the rare bloom of desert lilies (pictured), and just in time for the Easter weekend.

As we mentioned in last week’s newsletter, in an effort to connect and unite entrepreneurs and small businesses, industry experts and creative professionals, communities and destinations, we started a networking group. Since then, we moved it to become a Big Blend Community Facebook Group that’s open to individuals too, and we’re excited to invite you to join the conversation!
