Subject: Train like an athlete...and look BETTER than one...

You don't train to look and move like a big lump of meat.

You want to build muscle, absolutely, but you want that muscle to PERFORM.

One of the most challenging things to do as a personal trainer and coach is to develop a program that does both...and does it well.

Quite often, when you focus just on physique development, performance suffers...and when you focus on performance, your physique gets unbalanced.

And I'll be honest...the concept of "training like an athlete" is great, but it does NOT necessarily develop your physique to look like an athlete. You actually need to put in some "physique development" trainining to get the athletic look you want.

Some of the most incredible athletes on the planet don't even look like they train when they're in street clothes.

This has been my own experience when I look back over my years of training. When I sarted, I was primarily focused on just building as much muscle as possible.

I got BIG...to the point of being almost 230 lbs at 5'10". I was strong as anything but I could barely run 100 yards even at a moderate pace.

When I switched my focus to athletic performance, I lost a lot of muscle mass.

I wish I would have had something like THIS to learn from when I was trying to figure it out.

It's called the "Athletic Aesthetic Physique" and the focus is exactly what it sounds like...building a high-performance body that LOOKS good as well.

In my experience as a trainer, this is the goal that most guys (and girls) actually WANT to achieve...being lean and muscular with strength and explosive power to boot.
