I'll tell you right up front...this technique is not unpainful.

In fact, it'll not only hurt while you're doing it, you'll have some big-time muscle soreness for at least several days after as well.

It will get your quads pumped up like CRAZY and it will help you with leg growth in the future (by improving localized blood supply).

It doesn't put any stress on your lower back or knees and keeps the load off the glutes, focusing almost entirely on the quads.
