Subject: Are you a runner? Read this...

Crazily enough, I used to be a long distance runner myself.

You wouldn't know it to look at me now, but in high school, I was a hardcore endurance athlete.

Here's a picture of me doing a triathlon back then....I didn't even train for it...I just did it.

I really enjoyed running...but what I DIDN'T enjoy was constantly fighting injuries.

I ended up getting near-crippling shin splints for quite awhile...so bad I could hardly walk.

During a qualifying run for provincial championships, I got a hip injury so bad that I had practically drag my leg across the finish line, hopping the last km of the race pretty much on one leg.

Then I got plantar fasciitis a few years later, while trying to get back into running (after gaining a lot of muscle).

I still do run on occasion, but I'm a lot smarter about it now...I don't do a lot of miles. I trained for an 8-mile Spartan race last year by running once a week for 5 weeks, just 3 miles at a time, but at a fast pace.

How about YOU?

If you're a runner who is constantly battling injuries...trying to keep at it while still healing up enough to keep at it, I understand where you're coming from.

I had a great chat with a new friend of mine by the name of Brodie Sharpe last week.

Brodie is a Physiotherapist from Australia and an avid runner himself...and he specializes in helping runners HEAL injuries and STAY injury-free.

He's put together an amazing course that tells you EXACTLY how to do this, without having to visit him or any other physio.

It's called The Run Smarter Series...

And I have to say, I wish I would have had something like this available to me when I was distance running. It would have saved me a LOT of pain and injury and likely would have helped done even BETTER in my races.

Bottom line, if you're a runner and you've experienced your share of injuries and want to STOP getting injured, Brodie's "Runs Smarter" course is something you'll definitely want to check out.
