Mark Arnold found clay in a non-traditional way. While growing up in Pittsburgh, PA, he suffered a career ending injury in the BMX circuit. Mark then decided to enroll in a ceramics class at a local community college to help with his healing process. It was there that he decided to take clay to the next level and quickly transferred to Edinboro University where he received his B.F.A in ceramics. He is currently a second year MFA candidate at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
