FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Kansas City, MO – Red Star’s newest exhibition is a showcase of artworks by staff members of Belger Arts Center and Belger Crane Yard Studios. Functional and sculptural ceramics, paintings, and mixed media assemblages by Brock DeBoer, Tommy Frank, Shellie Kacillas, Catie Miller, Cydney Ross, Brandon Schnur, Jessica Thompson-Lee, and Cheryl Gail Toh are featured. The exhibition represents the merging of their creative talents within the daily operation of both Belger locations and as individual artists.
This exhibition opens on First Friday, December 5, with an opening reception from 6-9pm, and runs through December 27, 2014.

The Red Star Gallery showcases work by emerging and established regional, national, and international artists. This exhibition will be on view at the Gallery located within the Belger Crane Yard Studios art complex at 2011 Tracy Avenue, between the East Crossroads and Kansas City’s 18th & Vine District. This four-building complex also houses the following: Red Star Studios’ renowned Artist-in-Residence program; ceramic artists’ studios; a metal studio and fabrication workshop; The Lawrence Lithography Workshop; and Crane Yard Clay ceramics supply. Exhibitions are also scheduled at Belger Arts Center located in the Crossroads Arts District at 2100 Walnut Street.
