Fall Fest at the Belger Glass Annex

See free glassblowing demos throughout the day at Fall Fest.

This month marks the first anniversary of the opening of the Belger Glass Annex (1219 E. 19^th St., KCMO) and we are celebrating this special occasion and the fall season on October 29, from 11am to 8pm. This free family-friendly event includes the following activities:

11am-5pm: Glass art for sale by area glass artists
12-3pm: Julita’s Food Truck will serve up fried chicken and other southern favorites.
1-4 pm: LIVE music from the Ernest James Zydeco Band
5-8 pm: Hot cider, cookies, and other fall treats
6-8 pm: Glassblowing main event

Throughout the day there will be glassblowing demonstrations, family art activities, glass pumpkins for sale, seasonal treats, and more!

Fall Ceramics Classes

Frame Making instructor and resident artist Gina Pisto

Come experience one of our new classes at the Belger Crane Yard Studios. We have Gina Pisto leading a class in Frame Making. hone your sculpting and installation practice with an expert! Want to learn the secrets of sculpting the perfect flower? Consider taking our slip and dip class with Cydney Ross! We're sure to have something you're not expecting in the ceramic arts.

Glass 1 this Fall

It's getting cold out there—now is the perfect time to learn to blow glass!

Sign up for Glass 1 at the Belger Glass Annex this fall and learn the basics of how to become a glassblower. Spots still available in both remaining Glass 1 classes this year. Join us in the hotshop Saturday and Sunday, November 12-13 or Saturday and Sunday, December 17-18.

Date Night

Bring a fun friend or sweetheart to a Date Night Pottery Class at Belger Arts Center (2100 Walnut, KCMO). Learn to throw on the wheel, decorate what you make, and we'll fire and glaze it. Your finished work can be picked up one month after class. Date Night happens every Friday and Saturday! Classes sell out quickly, so don't delay!
