After Hours: Belger Arts Employee Exhibition at the Belger Crane Yard Gallery (2011 Tracy, Ave., Kansas City, MO 64108) showcases the artistic talents of the artists who are members of the Belger Arts staff. While Belger Arts (comprised of Belger Arts Center, Belger Crane Yard Studios, and Crane Yard Clay) is known for its ceramics exhibitions and programs, the artists who work here represent a range of media, including glass, wood, mixed media, and ceramics. The works on view also reflect a diversity of approaches, techniques, and themes. After Hours will remain on view through June 5, 2021.

Dining with a Purpose!

Belger Arts has teamed up with The Savoy for D.I.S.H. (Dinging in Support of Hospitality). Starting April 7, you can dine with a purpose at The Savoy and go home with a hand-crafted ceramic plate made by one of eight Belger Arts artists.


Participating artists are Bekah Bliss, Elaine Buss, Pierce Haley, Paul Maloney, Paul Mallory, Katherine Moes, Sarah Jewell Olsen, and Lilly Powell.


How it works - order a plate shown on the menu and your meal will be served on it. Enjoy your dinner, and keep the plate! Additionally, other ceramic wares from Belger Arts will be available in the 21c Museum Shop! The proceeds from purchasing the plate plus 10% of your meal will support the One Fair Wage Emergency Fund. This offering is only available while supplies last. In addition to Belger Crane Yard Gallery, add Belger Arts Center to your First Friday adventure. William Christenberry: Tracing Time at Belger Arts Center (2100 Walnut St., KCMO) has been extended through Friday, July 2. The exhibition offers an examination of art icon William Christenberry's relationship to Hale County, Alabama where he spent his summers as a child, its influence on his conceptual approach and artistic vision, and the psychology of place and memory. The exhibition includes photographs, drawings, paintings, and sculptures from the Belger Collection, some never before seen in Kansas City.
