The book itself is a follow-up to my Qliphothic Meditations and Qliphothic Invocations & Evocations, and completes my writings on Qliphothic magic. The table of contents includes the introduction to the book, which presents the purpose of this work, explanation of the methods of work, the opening ritual, and 22 chapters — each dedicated to the particular tunnel and its ruling guardian. They all contain the information about each entity, their sigils and portraits that can be used to connect with them, and rituals showing how to work with the particular tunnel and what you can expect from this work in your day-to-day life. Tools and methods needed for the workings presented here are in many ways similar to those used in Qliphothic Meditations and Qliphothic Invocations & Evocations. I have also decided to keep the working paradigm consistent with these two books. Like in the case of Qliphothic realms and their demonic rulers, the tunnels and their guardians have to be approached in a specific way and most of these entities respond best to a particular manner of work and tools applied in the process. This is all explained further in the book itself, and in the particular chapters you will find all necessary instructions to organize this work and advice on how to profit from it in the best way.

Like in my other books, in each chapter you will find a set of rituals organized according to the same manner of work. Each chapter starts with the magical profile of the guardian, description of the tunnel itself, and explanation of its powers and influence on the practitioner’s consciousness. It also provides information on how it is related to the tarot and how to use this knowledge in practice. Then we have the practical part, starting with the meditation on the sigil, which has been received through my personal work with the tunnel and is explained in regard to both its symbolism and meaning. Following the sigil, there is an invocation to summon the guardian. Invocations included here serve the same purpose as those presented in the previous two volumes: they open the inner mind for the influence of the guardian’s energy so that you can experience it, absorb it and make it your own. This way you learn from the guardians through the direct communion with these entities.

Following that, you will find the main working of each chapter, which is a pathworking, also known as a guided meditation. The pathworkings presented here are based on my own explorations of the tunnels. Personally, I consider these meditations to be the best way to connect with these forces. This is because the atavistic and amorphous nature of these realms often appears too abstract to grasp for the human mind, and most of these tunnels can only be worked with from the space of a deep trance that is compared to a dream experience. Therefore, lucid dreaming skills will come useful here, as well as all kinds of altered states of consciousness and trance techniques, be it through music, relaxation, reversed breathing, or other methods that disable the conscious mind and open access to inner layers of the Self.

The last working of each chapter is dream work. The Tunnels of Set are often viewed as a network of dream cells in the subconscious mind, and working with them requires certain dreaming skills as well. In the previous work we communed with spirits and deities that are known from mythology, occult books and popular culture. Here we access entities that are generally not worked with by magicians and most of the occult world has never even heard about them — beings that are primal and amorphous, have no connection to the human race, and do not exist as universal egregores. Interacting with them takes much more advanced skills than working with Lilith, Lucifer, or other figures that are generally well known and easily accessible to those who seek contact with them. It also takes different methods, which are largely based on intuition, imagination, clairvoyance, inner insight, visions and fantasies, etc., and dream magic is here one of the most useful tools to contact these beings in their natural environment.

The book is also accompanied by a special ritual item — a bronze ritual amulet depicting the Tree of Qliphoth, which can be used both as an altar decoration and as a charging plate during your work with these forces. To use it as a charging plate, put it underneath another ritual item, the chalice with the sacrament, or a sigil, and focus on directing the summoned energies through it to empower your connection to the energies and denizens of the Dark Tree.

Apart from the rituals and magical techniques presented here, this work can be empowered by several other things. One of them is Oraculum Leviathan, the tarot deck which I created with Bill Duvendack. In the Draconian Tradition, each pathway within the Tunnels of Set corresponds to a particular card within the Major Arcana. These correspondences are provided and explained in detail in the description of each realm, but working with the tarot itself can empower the journey through the particular tunnel as well. Oraculum Leviathan is especially recommended for this work because it contains the imagery and symbolism derived from the Draconian Tradition and refers to the journey through the Tree of Qliphoth as a path of self-initiation. For this reason I have chosen to create the illustrations to this book in a similar art style. Like the cards in the tarot deck, the portraits of the guardians of the Tunnels of Set are designed according to the black-white-red color scheme and include the same symbolism as in Oraculum Leviathan.

Another significant addition to this work is Qliphothic Astrology by Bill Duvendack, which refers to the Tunnels of Set in connection with their astrological meaning and practical application.
