I contact you now in the midst of a hysterical new wave of "Satanic Panic" in the United States. This past Friday, a 21-year-old, gay, Black artist released blasphemous Satanic art in the forms of a music video and sneaker line.

Honestly, who cares, right? I opened and administer the YouTube channel of E.A., and dropping a video with Satan in it seems undeniably normal to me and everyone seeing this newsletter probably. Truthfully, I never would have known the art existed in the first place, because I rarely consume popular culture.

However, upon releasing the music video — which featured the young musician dancing on the lap of Satan — it triggered the "cancel culture" of the Evangelical Christian army, who have accused the artist of being a "devil worshiper" and part of a "Satanic Illuminati conspiracy." You can imagine the number of times deranged commentors have accused me and E.A. of being in the Illuminati. To a Christian conspiracy theorist, it's impossible for a magician to simply identify with witchcraft voluntarily, because they believe that Satan tempts and seduces everyone into his Infernal Empire.

I elucidate this with precision in my new book, The Antichrist, on page 171:

Truthfully, I have never listened to the music of the pop artist, nor would I wear his sneakers. Nevertheless, the rise of another mainstream Satanic Panic raises a big red flag, insofar as it proves that the cultural fascism of Evangelical Christianity remains as prominent, stupid, and dangerous as ever.

You will recall that the true origins of "identity politics" and "cancel culture" derive from ancient religious tribalism, and have always existed from the dawn of time — I explain the birth and evolution of The Devil archetype in my book, The Devil. In the West, the militant zealots of Abrahamic faiths have dogmatically prohibited and censored blasphemous art by an order of magnitude worse than any other group on the full timeline of human history. In fact, the Christian Commandments explicitly ban paganism, idols, and graven images by name, thereby committing mass genocide against indigenous pagan tribes historically. This is the real cancel culture.

To this point, yours truly — E.A. and I — have both suffered Christian "cancel culture" in the form of economic discrimination. I retell these experiences in my new book, The Antichrist. Over the last decade, many haters have tried to insult and shame E.A. out of performing black magick and sharing it with the world. Let me say this clearly: You cannot shame an adversarialist. It only empowers them. The forces of antagonism feed their power and accelerate their ascent. The anger, hatred, and moral outrage of a religious zealot only validates and justifies the ambition of a black magician. In other words, when a Christian calls a Satanist "wrong," it only proves the adversarialist right.

Adversarialism, antinomianism, anti-theism, anarchism, and any other form of left-hand heterodoxy exists in rebellion against the right-hand orthodoxy of the theocratic ruling class. Thus, when the orthodox elite become upset or "triggered" at the heterodox dissidents, it simultaneously measures the strength of the rebellion — the anger becomes a metric. The more triggered the theocratic fascist becomes, the stronger the rebel becomes.

Ultimately, pop music videos and sneakers adorned in the aesthetic of Satanism do not even appear as a blip on my radar in terms of blasphemy and heresy; they seem absolutely harmless to me, like a cultural fad. The truly worst form of heresy arises in the form of self-deification. The quotation below clarifies this highest heresy, and comes from my free ebook and audiobook, Black Magick Manifesto, page 21:

Black magician denotes a meta ethnic identity. No singular identity group has suffered as much literal, institutional demonization and persecution as black magicians in human history — an a priori truth by definition.
