As I've mastered this transference mechanism within myself, I've come to understand that there are 3 laws of energy transfer. As long as you keep these in mind, you're going to be able to have a successful experience with energy transfer.

Whether you're giving somebody your energy or taking energy away, the first rule or law is connection or contact. You need to actually make some sort of psychic contact with the person that you are transferring energy with.

This is most easily done when you're starting by touching that person. Now, here's a little rule to keep in mind: with energy transfer, your right hand gives and your left hand takes. Some people who are left-handed find that those are swapped, that those are inverted, that your left hand gives, while your right hand takes. When you do your first few experiments with energy transfer, you'll be able to feel really clearly which hand is pulling and which hand is pushing energy, and I might even suggest that you experiment, see if you can pull energy with your right hand or your left hand better, and you're going to find that one or the other does the trick much better. Again, for most people, your left hand is going to take while your right hand gives. So, if you're trying to transfer energy from yourself to another person, touch them with your right hand, making that connection. If your intention is to take energy away from someone, use your left hand.

This connection does not need to be sealed with a physical touch, however. You can also sit next to somebody, feeling the overlap of your auras, or you can look at them, look into their eyes, or just look at them across the room. You can even think about a person and connect to their energy. The main principle here is that in some way, you are connecting to that person and only that person.

The second law of energy exchange is polarity. We've already established that the right hand gives and left hand takes, but you need to become clear about this before you actually start the energy transfer. Really seal it in your mind: What am I doing? Am I giving or am I taking? How much am I going to give, or how much am I going to take? Now, this all will be packaged under what we can call polarity.

What are you doing with this energy? Is it coming into you or out of you? Where is it going?

All of these things are encapsulated in the second law of energy exchange.

The third law of energy exchange is breath. This is less of a law and more of an instruction, but you can consider it to be both.

Your energy flows out from you as you exhale. Your energy flows into you as you inhale.

If you're going to give energy to another person with your right hand, or even if you're not touching them, with the right side of your perception, the right side of your energy system, you can pass that energy to them with an exhalation, breathing out and feeling your energy traveling down your arm, down your hand and into the person.

If you're trying to take energy, if you're appropriating, do that with your left hand and inhale, feeling the energy passing from the person into you.

It's not so important with energy transfer that you visualize anything, but it is important that you feel that you're pulling that energy at first. This is going to be something that you feel like you're concocting or making yourself imagine, that you're just playing make-believe, and maybe at first you are, but after a few repetitions of inhaling the energy of that other person, you're going to notice an influx of energy into yourself and you will visibly often be able to see the person you're pulling that energy from withering, getting tired, maybe getting clumsy, maybe even having to excuse themselves to go recover their energy.

If you're giving energy, you're going to see the exact opposite, that you actually become weakened, that you become tired as the other person becomes energized.

It is just simply a matter of making that connection, setting the polarity, and breathing!

Like most magickal practices, this is extremely simple and in its simplicity is extremely powerful. I'm going to recommend that you don't take my word for any of this or anything at all. Go try it for yourself.

Try it for yourself, and you're going to see how easy energy transfer can be when you abide by these three laws of energy transfer.
