In my last newsletter I laid out how the expansion of the sorcerer's consciousness and his ability to reach altered states of consciousness is the key to powerful witchcraft. In 2012 I underwent a life-changing possession by Lucifer's essence for the duration of three weeks. I had explored altered states of consciousness to a large extent and had reaped the benefits of that in my magickal practice. What is perceived as a world of separate objects and events that are not connected to each other in any way, in altered states of awareness, will be perceived as interconnected and influencing each other at all times. An invisible field of energy and consciousness permeates and connects anything and everything, and it is also the medium through which witchcraft is created.

This is when the true meaning of the old teachings of "as within so without" and "as above so below" becomes apparent and crystal clear. The inner world of the sorcerer is connected to anything and everything. And through this connection nonlocal and nonlinear influence over the course of physical events an be exerted. As a next level of immersion in this field of energy, the identity of the individual will be replaced with that of the whole and the physical body of the sorcerer becomes nothing more but the vessel for forces much greater than himself. Any ritual becomes a beautiful and unique dance and piece of art, in which the lower self makes place for a higher intelligence to act upon this world. The more the sorcerer is able to give himself over to the movement of energy, which is the creation of a new energetic blueprint that will condense down into physical reality, the more potent his rituals will be. This also creates harmony and peace within the witch and the universe as a whole.

The most potent rituals that you will do require very little planning. In fact, the most important factor will be the clarity about your intention and a strong emotion in regards to that. As you begin the ritual and call the spirits to aid you in your magickal operation, you have to trust their guidance in the moment, for they are spirit and their perception is uncluttered by the limitations of the physical body. Connected to this field of energy, your body will move to create the vortexes of energy that will cause your desire to manifest. The words that are spoken in this state carry the authority of the divine and the tools used in these rituals are indeed more than mundane objects. They become the interface that connects you to whatever consciousness or force you link it to.

When I called Lucifer in the ritual that preceded my possession experience I asked him to show me, what I called, "the Perception of the Gods". This was what made the most sense to me at the time, as I had realized the connection between perception and power. And what more could there be than what the gods perceive? Lucifer, residing within my essence for three weeks, began to change me from within. And this experience has changed me forever. What I was shown was a gradual opening up of my awareness to deeper and deeper levels of awareness. Multiple layers that I could see in my inner vision, stacked upon the physical.

When you first begin to open your spiritual sight, or third eye, you will see a layer of energy overlapping physical reality. First in altered states and then later, when the different parts of your being are integrated enough, you will see this layer all the time. Auras around people and objects, you will see flashes of their thoughts and memories and, of course, spirits. They are all around us. Depending on where the majority of your awareness is focused on, you will see them as translucent figures, or just as clearly and detailed as physical objects. The more you use these other senses, the more your awareness in the other worlds will merge with your awareness in this one. And you will clearly know and realize that the different planes are interacting and you, as the warlock have the ability to connect the worlds within the singularity of your own being. Deus est homo, home est deus - God is man, man is God. Realizing the above will make your rituals much more effective. When you call Lucifer to aid you in your revenge through a curse, he will guide your actions towards hate most devastating punishment of your enemy. The more you allowed Lucifer to transform your awareness, the more potently he will guide you and the more clearly he can show you how to control the spiritual currents. Your mind will become his mind, and his will become yours.
