My contribution to the Lucifuge Compendium is titled, Lucifuge Rofocale: Twin God of Thaumiel. In this grimoire I discuss the relationship between Lucifuge Rofocale and Lucifer, how these two separate entities work together in synergy. And how you can effectively utilise working with both of them.

Less than 2 years ago I made contact for the first time with Lucifuge Rofocale. I did not by any means race to make a pact with this demon, in fact at the time of writing this newsletter I still haven’t. I know from working with the demonic that if there is one issue I have had working with them it is my ability to control and direct the power that emanates from the demonic realm. And I don’t mind telling you that I have most certainly made many mistakes along the way on my journey. We live in a realm of cause and effect and not approaching a demonic working with respect can have serious consequences. This is an issue of importance for me as a black magician because I wish to improve my life not destroy apart of it that I love and be unable to rebuild it.

If you are new to the occult I ask you to put your ego aside for a moment and consider all that is in this newsletter before diving deep into any magickal operation involving demons such as Lucifuge. The last thing you want to do is start off on the Left Hand Path and dig yourself into a hole and create horrible situations for yourself as a result of your magick back firing.

While the following information is what I will have in mind when I do finally make a pact with Lucifuge Rofocale. This can and should be applied to any demonic working. Before beginning in depth work with Lucifuge Rofocale I had thought of him for the most part as simply THE demon to make a long term and very potent pact with. My work with Lucifuge Rofocale revealed to me that there is much more to this entity than that. My written work will be useful to any on the Left Hand Path regardless of whether or not you ever plan to even make contact with Lucifuge Rofocale.

In the modern day, in this age where the web and other Internet technologies are widely used by much of the population in the developed world. Demons particularly those from well-known grimoires such as Ars Goetia are being invoked, evoked and called upon by a greater number of people than ever before, I will save speculation on the practice of black magick in the world before the great flood.

I am all for freedom of information, especially information that will empower and liberate the individual. Forces that in their earlier forms would have stopped the free flow of information particularly on topics such as the occult and magick are currently rendered powerless in their attempts to do so. One of the great things about the web, that is also something that can create problems is that everyone to some extent can be viewed as equal. That means that anyone that wants to voice their opinion can do so and it is very easy for those who are not informed to blindly parrot information without verifying it’s authenticity and credibility. And before long because of herd mentality, even amongst those who claim to be free from it, It becomes what is considered truth solely because it becomes consensus [amongst fools.]

Working with demons is too often romanticised in a way that more than anything portrays the science and methodology behind the occult arts incorrectly. And this leads many astray that would otherwise be able to utilise magick successfully. And Lucifuge Rofocale is very particular with those who he will make a pact with and what terms and conditions will be set forth along with what in particular he is willing to offer the sorcerer who summons him.

The manifestation of the particular desires of the sorcerer will be influenced by the 7 Hermetic Principles.

No sorcerer is able to fully comprehend and feel all of these principles functioning throughout THE ALL in even one moment in time. Manifestations that arise from spirit evocation can and do at times take the practitioner by surprise. If these 7 Hermetic Principles were able to be viewed, felt and understood at the time of the evocation and afterwards this wouldn’t as much be the case.
