The first thing that holds people back from considering such a ritual is that it sounds evil. If you think it sounds weird or crazy, why not give it a try and see what happens after years of intense life transformation? You may now find the fear hidden behind the aversion. A fear of the destruction of the body, resulting in the imprisonment of the soul. Even to this very day, I hear about so called black magicians, warning others to not partake in this rite. Why fear the forces of darkness when we are their children?

The concept of the ritual is the literal embracement of the very force we attune ourselves towards. The adversarial current absorbed into our core, forever. As black magicians, we are able to see beyond that which is known as “churchianity,” the entrapment and fear based control system which has plagued the evolution of humanity, suppressing people with dogmatic cult-like control. The black magician who dares to undertake this sacred rite will have ultimately freed their own self from such fears as they will find that Satan is no trickster who offers trinkets for our life’s seed—it is a union of our power with his own. Heaven and Hell are both here right now if we are able to see beyond the illusions of this world.

When I performed the rite to offer my soul to Satan, it was six years ago on Halloween night. I created a spell that would embody the stereotypical shock value concept that in itself has created an egregore of power due to stigma alone. I wanted to see if I could create a ritual to offer my soul to Satan in exchange for his power to change my life. Instead of losing my soul, it became part of the essence of what Satan is. This is akin to the concept of giving every last drop of our blood to Babalon, the Mother of Abominations. We pour it into the holy grain that she holds aloft, the blood therein already the blood of the most powerful mages through time. When we give every last drop of our blood into the Great Work, we become one with everything and lose nothing. This concept works beautifully as well in order to understand the purpose of this rite.

For the first time ever, in my contribution “The Worms of Hell” in the Compendium of Satan, I am providing the detailed instructions on how I created the ritual to sell your soul to Satan, a ritual that really should be called uniting the self with Satan but it has less of a shock to the senses when heard.
