I’ve been telling you about this Viking Magick course that is coming out this December.
Now, I’ve been working on this pathworking all year in order to interact with each of the nine worlds in its own time and season, which maximizes the overlap between Midgard and the related Norse world.
Viking Magick is exactly that: a full initiation into the nine worlds of Norse mythology, contacting the gods, learning the magick of that world, and fully mastering each world’s powers.
But, where did I actually get this information from?

Viking Magick Dates Back To The Stone-Age! |

The first thing to be aware of is that the Norse religion can be traced back to the stone age.
What this means is that while human society and civilization was evolving, Norse myth and magick was also evolving. The beliefs, practices, and rituals of the Norse are therefore extremely difficult to pin down because of the scope of the development of the system.

Another difficulty in reconstructing Norse magick is the fact that the Northmen seemed to only write in Runes for magickal or spiritual reasons, resulting in a severe lack of written records.
In fact, most of the writings that have been passed down about the Norse were written centuries after the Viking Age ended. On top of this, those authors were almost exclusively Christian, making their accounts of ritual and religion hardly reliable.

The First Step: Preparatory Immersion |

The first step in any magickal undertaking is Preparatory Immersion.
I first introduced this as the first of the Elementary Principes of Evocation in my book Evoking Eternity:

In order to achieve any similitude of success in the occult, the Aspirant must immerse himself in the Work in preparation for the ritual, becoming a zealot intent on seeing the finger of God rather than a charlatan bent on producing the image of His face. The Magician is not to only immerse himself in the doctrine and philosophy of the system which he is attempting to utilize, but in the dogma and the faith of it, although one almost inevitably follows the other.
The forces, beings, authority, and devices associated with the chosen entity need to become as real to the Operator as the physical world around him and all of its governing laws.
One of the most often employed methods of achieving this personal integration into a unique and specific spiritual or philosophical paradigm is through intellectual immersion.
Dr. Joseph Lisiewski, Ph.D. puts forth in his book Ceremonial Magic and the Power of Evocation:
“A state of subjective synthesis is produced in the subconscious mind of the Practitioner by the study, understanding, comprehension, and acceptance of the theoretical material underlying any magical act… It is this subjective synthesis which enables the subconscious mind to produce the physical effects associated with magical rituals, strengthen the altered state of consciousness, and enable the spiritual entity to manifest.”2
Dr. Lisiewski hinges the entire success of the Operation on the attainment of the state of subjective synthesis, and rightly so, as without this fundamental base the whole of the Operation is pointless, the ritual of evocation being tantamount to the prayers of the faithless uttered in vain repetition.
… All of these practices, even those of a purely intellectual nature, are designed to meet the demands of the first principle of evocation, which is to immerse oneself in the Working a time before it is performed, in order to perceive the impossible as certain.

The real test of the magick of the system is only in its application, though. Once we take these ideas and put them into magickal application, then we can truly see the utility of them.
And, having had our experiences, we have thus verified the philosophies to some extent, and can even further verify and validate them by communicating them to others… which is really how religions, philosophies, and cultures are created!
What separates magick from religion, however, is that magick is meant to produce results! Thus, personal experience and immersion into this pathworking system is not a search for gnosis, but for power.
So, “Unverified Personal Gnosis”, when filtered through the lens of magick, really becomes “Verifable Interpersonal Magick.”
