Subject: Your Weekly Astrology Update!

Dear Stargazers,

Overall, it's a relatively quiet week but transiting aspects on Tuesday and Friday could coincide with disappointment for some of you. On the upside, Thursday's energy can be extremely helpful to all of you.

In terms of planetary events, the big news this week is that Venus enters Scorpio and Mars enters Libra. Both planets will be in the signs of their detriment, which means they need to play by someone else's rules. What does all this mean? Scroll on down to read more!

PLANETARY FORECAST

September 13 - 19

All dates are given in the Eastern Time Zone.

PLANETARY EVENTS

Sep. 10: Venus enters Scorpio

Sep. 14: Mars enters Libra

BEST DAYS: While there are other days during this time frame that are fine, these are the best of the bunch. What do I mean by the best? The energy is flowing, the moon isn't void and there's a greater likelihood for happy and/or productive outcomes.

Sep. 15

Sep. 18 (for relaxing and just kicking back)

BEST AVOIDED: The energies on these days aren't favorable for new ventures or any activity where you want or need a definite result. If you must schedule something, you may have to think on your feet, or there may be a need for patience or flexibility.

Sep. 14, 17

Sep. 18 (avoid for new ventures or activities that require definite results)

NOTABLE ASPECTS

Tuesday, Sep. 14: Sun opposite Neptune

If possible, put off making any important decisions today because this influence this transit is one of confusion and doubt. On a similar note, promises made today are likely to fall flat.

Thursday, Sep. 16: Sun trine Pluto

This transit is excellent for making a good impression on others because you express yourself clearly and with authority. It is also a wonderful influence for creativity, and that includes reinventing yourself on some level as well.

Friday, 17: Venus square Saturn

When the planet of love and the planet of reality clash, someone can end up in tears. This influence

demands that we define our needs and assess whether they are being met or whether we are just "settling." If a separation occurs under this influence, it is likely to be permanent. Experiencing feelings of inadequacy or a shortage of cash flow are other possibilities at this time.

TRANSITING VENUS IN SCORPIO

September 10 - October 7

While in Scorpio, Venus is in the sign of her detriment, which mean’s she’s forced to play by Scorpio’s rules. Whereas her airy Libra side is uncomfortable being immersed in this intensely emotional sign, the earthy Taurus side of her is attracted to Scorpio because they share a common interest in sex, money and control.

And when it comes to sex, the airy side of Venus is flirtatious but her earthy side can be downright hedonistic. Consequently, while Venus is in Scorpio she can get down and dirty.

Since Venus is the planetary ruler of money, she has more than a passing interest in it. Since Scorpio presides over jointly-held assets and money that flows from sources other than a weekly paycheck, while Venus is here she has a gift for attracting, handling, accumulating and spending other people’s money.

Like Scorpio, her earth side enjoys being in control and has a well-deserved reputation... >> More

TRANSITING MARS IN LIBRA

September 14 - October 30

After weeks of working, serving and healing others, Mars was ready to call it a day and move on to a livelier destination where he could socialize, have some fun and, most of all, light a romantic fire or two.

So after he gave proper notice, washed his hands and hung up his toolkit, he headed into Libra where he knew relationships were sure to blossom.

However, when Mars is in Libra, he’s in the sign of his detriment which means he has to play by someone else’s rules. In Libra, Mars has to tone down the noise, the ego and the testosterone, because if he wants to succeed in the 7th house, he needs to be polished, poised and well-mannered.

He also needs to be balanced, which isn’t easy for him because he’s not used to intellectual analysis. With his fiery nature, he’s used to making decisions intuitively and immediately. However, once he tries his hand at it, he discovers that he’s a skillful negotiator, which is a welcome asset to someone who loves to win.

When it comes to romance, Mars is about physical passion but much to his chagrin, the 7th house, the three-date rule applies which means he needs to court the object of his affection. Although patience isn’t his strong suit, Mars loves a challenge and when the prize is enticing, he always rises to the occasion.

Although Mars may not be at his best in Libra, he’s always the best he can be.
