Subject: Weekly Forecast ✨ New Podcast 🎤 and More!

Dear Stargazers,

The cosmic weather is mild this week, and while that's a good thing, keep in mind that gentle energy isn't motivating energy. If you're working on a project or just have a to-do list, a little extra effort can go a long way towards accomplishing a goal or crossing things off your list.

WEEKLY FORECAST FOR JULY 4 - 11
All dates are given in the Eastern Time Zone.

Planetary Activity

July 05: Mars enters Taurus

July 05: Mercury enters Cancer

Best Days: While there are other days during this time frame that are fine, these are the best of the bunch. What do I mean by the best? The energy is flowing, the moon isn't void and there's a greater likelihood for happy and/or productive outcomes.

July 4, 10

Best Avoided: The energies on these days aren't favorable for new ventures or any activity where you want or need a definite result. If you must schedule something, you may have to think on your feet, or there may be a need for patience or flexibility.

July 5

Notable Aspects

Tuesday, July 5: Mercury sextile Mars

This is a promising day for discussions and negotiations, because the gentle nature of today's energy suggests that neither party will view the other as adversarial. It's likely that ideas and information will come quickly, but you can count on this influence to help you think on your feet.

Saturday, July 9: Mercury square Jupiter

You'll have no problem coming up with big ideas, large-scale plans or ambitious goals today. However, the challenge is not to let your enthusiasm to reach the finish line cause you to overlook or dismiss details that will cause problems for you in the future. On a different note, take care to think before you speak today or you could wind up spilling secrets or sharing confidential information.

Sunday, July 10: Sun sextile Uranus

You're less concerned about what people think today, so if you've been wanting to make a change but were worried about how others would react, today might be the day you pull the trigger. Besides encouraging your independence, this influence can also stimulate creative juices, making it a good day for arts, crafts and other inspired endeavors.

TRANSITING MARS IN TAURUS

July 5 - August 20, 2022

Representing the God of War, Mars is one macho planet. However, according to certain astrological theories, whenever he’s in the feminine, sensual and self-indulgent sign of Taurus, he’s reduced to a weakened state reminiscent of Samson after he was betrayed by Delilah.

Frankly, I don’t buy it.

True, Mars does lose some of his drive in Taurus, but while he may not be as forceful or competitive as when he’s in Aries or as ambitious as when he’s in Capricorn, he’s far from depleted or lazy. From Aries to Pisces, his approach and strength varies, but he’s always motivated to attain whatever the sign holds dear.

And in Taurus, he’s motivated to create wealth.

Although his aggression comes down a few notches in Taurus, his productivity soars because the fixed nature of the Bull gives him the patience, endurance and determination to see things through to the very end.

Taurus has a natural affinity with money, and when it’s spiked with even a touch of Mars ambition, the sky is the limit.

That’s why those who are born with this natal placement often achieve significant success in the material world. Michael Jackson, Michael Bloomberg, Madonna, Kanye West, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Lucille Ball, Mick Jagger, Liberace, Andy Warhol and Robert DeNiro are just a few Mars in Taurus individuals who created financial empires.

In fairness, when Mars in Taurus goes (very) bad, he can build empires of a different kind, such as the ones created by Adolph Hitler, Fidel Castro and Osama Bin Laden. Fortunately, it’s the exception and not the rule.

Of course, there’s more to Taurus than just money and possessions, and while he’s there, Mars isn’t oblivious to the Bull’s sensual delights or immune to their temptations. In fact, not only is he well aware of such pleasures, he enjoys them openly, fully and without feeling the least bit self-indulgent.

And that’s how it should be.

Because when Mars is in Taurus he works hard, and that earns him the right to play hard.

TRANSITING MERCURY IN CANCER

July 5 - 19, 2022

Although Mercury loved being in Gemini, his restless spirit inspired him to leave the comfort of his own sign and continue to explore the rest of the zodiac. As it happened, the next stop on his celestial itinerary would put his renowned adaptability to the test as he spent the next few weeks drenched in the sensitive, intuitive and emotional waters that Cancer calls home.

An intellectual in every sense of the word, Mercury filters the world through an analytical lens and experiences life through the head. In contrast, Cancer views the world through an intuitive lens and experiences life through the heart.

As a result, Mercury finds conversations under Cancer’s roof uncomfortable. In fact, the airy side of Mercury feels like he’s drowning the first time he’s drenched in Cancer’s emotions. However, once he catches his breath and realizes that his head is securely above the water, he’ll adapt to his environment.

One of the first things Mercury realizes is that though their style may differ, both he and the Crab have a reputation for being changeable. Just as he is repeatedly accused of being fickle by the rest of the zodiac, Cancer is routinely described as being moody. As a result of this shared experience, he feels a sense of camaraderie with his neighboring sign, and to his surprise, this type of feeling actually feels quite good.

Eager to learn more, Mercury dives in and starts to experiment by blending his intellect with Cancer’s diverse set of Moon-inspired emotions. As he does so, he comes to understand that the lesson here isn’t just to strike a balance between logic and emotion; it’s about reconciling intellect with intuition so they can work together in a most productive partnership.

By the time his visit here has come to a close, Mercury will be ready to wring out his clothes, polish up his wings and head towards the warmth of the Sun. As luck would have it, his next stop is Leo, where he can bask in its glow as he proudly expresses his newfound insights.
