Subject: Weekly Astrology Update!

Dear Stargazers,

A new week is upon us, which means it's time to take a peek at what the heavens have in store for us!

WEEKLY FORECAST FOR APRIL 4 - 10
All dates are given in the Eastern Time Zone.

Planetary Activity

Apr. 05: Venus enters Pisces

Apr. 10: Mercury enters Taurus

Best Days: While there are other days during this time frame that are fine, these are the best of the bunch. What do I mean by the best? The energy is flowing, the moon isn't void and there's a greater likelihood for happy and/or productive outcomes.

Apr. 6, 7

Best Avoided: The energies on these days aren't favorable for new ventures or any activity where you want or need a definite result. If you must schedule something, you may have to think on your feet, or there may be a need for patience or flexibility.

Apr. 4

Notable Aspects

Apr. 04: Mars conjunct Saturn

This influence often coincides with delays, it's best to wait until it passes to start something new or promote a new product, service or agenda. A good way to work with this energy is to act on routine matters that require concentration.

Apr. 07: Mercury sextile Saturn

Since this energy promotes clear thinking and the ability to focus, it can be a very productive day if you are engaged in projects that require attention to detail. It also supports effective communications, which makes a good day for expressing your opinions or feelings to others. Finally, it's positive for making important decisions and/or establishing goals.

Apr. 08: Mercury sextile Mars

The pace of life is likely to pick up today. Although new information may come at you quickly, it's still a good day for discussions, negotiations and interviews. The positive flow of this influence help you get your points across, and neither party will view the other as adversarial.

Apr. 07: Mercury square Pluto

This is not the day to force your ideas or opinions on others because it's not likely to go well. If someone tries to force theirs on you, the best course under this intense energy is to agree to disagree because disagreements can escalate very quickly. Obsessive thinking is another possibility, but if you use it for a useful purpose, such as doing research, solving a problem or even self-analysis, this energy can be very productive.

TRANSITING VENUS ENTERS PISCES

April 5 - May 2, 2022

Although the airy side of Venus reveled in her independence and enjoyed the new experiences she encountered while in Aquarius, her earthy side eventually found its detached, impersonal nature too cool for comfort.

Longing to be cradled in a sea of emotional warmth, she bid the Water Bearer farewell and dove headlong into the waters of the sentimental, soothing sign of her exaltation: Pisces.

A planet is exalted when it occupies a sign that so complementary to its nature that its virtues are magnified and it expresses the highest nature of the planet and the sign. Consequently, while Venus is here, her senses are heightened, her sensitivity is increased and her compassion expands.

Since Venus is the planetary ruler of personal relationships, her thoughts naturally turn to romance while in the sign that represents the highest form of love, and just like the goddess, many of you may discover that during this time your thoughts are focused on matters of the heart.

By virtue of its rulership over the twelfth house, Pisces is connected to past lives and as the goddess of love makes her way through this karmic sign, somewhere along her journey she may encounter a soul mate.

Soul mates come into our lives in various forms and for a variety of reasons, and during this time it’s possible that some of you will meet one while others might “connect the dots” and recognize the lessons that past relationships have taught them.

In her role as the goddess of beauty, Venus also presides over the arts, and while she’s immersed the sign of imagination her creativity soars and her artistic talents blossom. As a result, those who are blessed with creative gifts are apt to receive inspiration now while those of us who lack artistic ability experience a greater appreciation of the beauty that surrounds us.

In addition to presiding over love and the arts, Venus is also the natural ruler of money, and although one might think that while Venus is in the idealistic sign of Pisces she’s impractical with money, nothing could be farther from the truth. In fact, when it comes to finances she can be quite frugal on a day-to-day basis, preferring to put a tidy sum aside that she can use to splurge on purchases that soothe her mind, her body and her soul.

Finally, while Venus is in the sign of forgiveness, she lets go of regrets and past hurts that steal her joy and calls love, happiness and peace into her life.

And while she's here, she invites us to do the same.

TRANSITING MERCURY ENTERS TAURUS

April 10 - 30 (Direct)

May 23 - June 2 (Rx)

June 3 - 13 (Direct)

After weeks of thinking on its feet, thinking about itself and making more than a few impulsive decisions, it was time for Mercury to leave Aries and move into Taurus where his nature is calmer, slower, patient, focused and less talkative.

While in the sign of the Bull, Mercury can be the epitome of the strong silent type who only speaks when he has something to say, and when he does, he says what he means and means what he says.

He's also more focused here, which makes it easier for him to get clear about his plans.

What type of plans? Well, since Taurus is the natural ruler of the second house of money and resources, they're likely to involve finances such as budgets, savings plans and comparison shopping.

Of course, money isn't the only resource ruled by the Bull.

It also presides over our values, which includes how much we value ourselves. Since our self-esteem is tied to how much we feel we deserve, which in turn determines how much we believe we can receive in good times as well as in bad.

On that note, this influence can be a productive one for evaluating our feelings of self-worth and if we fall short, working on ways to improve it.

The steady energy of the Bull also helps Mercury gather his thoughts, organize his ideas and prioritize his objectives.

In short, this is a perfect place for Mercury to stop and reflect on his finances, his values and his own self-worth, which is exactly what he'll be doing when he travels retrograde in Taurus from May 23 - June 2.

And so will we.

Stay tuned... I'll be back with more about Mercury Rx in Taurus in May!
