Subject: Trick or Treat: What the Halloween Blue Moon Means for You

Dear Stargazers,

This newsletter is early, because I wanted you to have the full moon forecast in a timely manner. Going forward, it will be sent out as usual on Sundays.

Mercury stations direct at 25°54' Libra on election day, and while some type of confusion, mixup or mayhem is likely, I still feel we'll have a declared winner before the end of the month. Time will tell if I'm right or wrong.

TRANSITING VENUS IN LIBRA

October 27 - November 21

As Libra's planetary ruler, Venus is at ease in the sign of the scales, where her exquisite taste, impeccable manners and refined social skills have earned her a well-deserved reputation as the most gracious hostess in the zodiac. In short, Venus in Libra is unmatched in her ability to bring people together, facilitate groups and create harmony. >>Read more.

PLANETARY FORECAST

November 1 - 8

All dates are given in the Eastern Time Zone.

PLANETARY EVENTS

Nov. 03: Mercury stations direct

BEST DAYS: NOV. 2, 8

While there are other days during this time frame that are fine, these are the best of the bunch. What do I mean by the best? The energy is flowing, the moon isn't void and there's a greater likelihood for happy and/or productive outcomes.

BEST AVOIDED: NOV. 1, 4, 6

The energies on these days aren't favorable for new ventures or any activity where you want or need a definite result. If you must schedule something, you may have to think on your feet, or there may be a need for patience or flexibility.

NOTABLE ASPECTS

Nov. 1: Mercury square Saturn

Nov. 6: Mercury square Saturn*

*This isn't a typo. On Nov. 1, Mercury Rx squares Saturn while moving backwards, and on Nov. 6 it squares it again while moving forward.

So what does this double whammy of hard energy mean?

It means that communications are likely to be strained or difficult, so if possible it's best to avoid important discussions or negotiations. You're probably better off working on your own at this time, because this influence can be productive if you use it to focus on work that requires concentration.

BLUE MOON at 8°38' TAURUS
October 31, 2020 | 10:38 AM EDT

This month's Taurus full moon is called a "blue moon" because it's the second full moon in a calendar month.

In the the background of this blue moo chart is a Jupiter-Pluto conjunction that will become exact on November 12. This is the third and final time Jupiter and Pluto will be in a conjunction, and it's occurring at the same degree as the Saturn Pluto conjunction.

What makes this especially significant is that the first Jupiter-Pluto conjunction on April 5 was also at this degree, and it was a time when Covid numbers were rising and lockdowns were being imposed. With just 2 weeks before the conjunction is exact, many cities and/or states in the USA, as well as a multitude of nations in Western Europe, are imposing strict lockdowns.

Like any other full moon, this month's blue moon can be expected to bring something to light, to a boil, to fruition or to a conclusion. Most of the time, related events unfold in the days leading up to it, and this is certainly the case on the national and international levels, where so far its influence appears to be more of a trick than a treat.

With Uranus (rebellion, sudden and/or unexpected events) in an extremely tight conjunction with the moon (emotions, the public) that is opposing the Sun (presidents, prime ministers and other government rulers), this past week has seen protests and riots in the United States (police shooting in Philadelphia), as well as in Italy, Spain, Germany, Ireland, England, Berlin and Poland (against the imposition of stricter lockdowns) and in Bangladesh, Palestine, Iran and Afghanistan (against perceived attacks on Muslims by French President Marcon).

The influence of Taurus is front and center, because while the issues may vary, the protests are all driven by the same thing; specifically, personal values that are so important that they're driving people into the streets. And like the Bull, they have no intention of backing down.

Once the full moon occurs, the energy will be released, but like all full moons, its influence lingers for 5 days. Given that this time frame takes us past the US elections, the coming week is likely to be an emotionally volatile and potentially explosive one.

While Mercury retrograde often delays the effects of a full moon, given the combustibility of this full moon, together with the fact that Mercury is squaring Saturn in this chart, my feeling is that any serious uprisings (here or abroad) will be contained (Saturn) by the military (Mercury shares rulership of the armed forces).

Each one of us has free will and a choice in how we respond to events. Fingers crossed, cool heads will prevail in the days ahead.

Although the blue moon chart is a downer on the mundane level, the reality is that depending upon your personal horoscope, it could be bringing you good news. For example, if your Venus is at or near 8° Virgo or Capricorn, something wonderful in connection to money or love may come to fruition.

Getting Personal

The house in your horoscope that holds this full moon is where the action is in your chart, and something related to one (or more) of the life areas ruled by it may come to light, to fruition, to a boil or to an end.

If you don't know which house holds 8°38 Taurus in your horoscope, you can refer to the list below to find out where the full moon falls in your solar (sun-sign based) chart).

If your Sun Sign is:

Aries, it falls in your 2nd house (income, spending, personal values, self-esteem, tangible assets).
Taurus, it falls in your 1st house (your physical body, attitude towards life).
Gemini, it falls in your 12th house (spirituality, creativity, mental health, addictions).
Cancer, it falls in your 11th house (groups, associations, hopes, casual friends, colleagues).
Leo, it falls in your 10th house (career, fame, status, reputation).
Virgo, it falls in your 9th house (education, law, religion, foreign and long-distance travel, publishing).
Libra, it falls in your 8th house (intimacy, shared resources, other people's support, birth, death, estate matters).
Scorpio, it falls in your 7th house (marriage and all one-to-one relationships including best friends, adversaries, business partners and clients).
Sagittarius, it falls in your 6th house (health, work, pets, diet, nutrition).
Capricorn, it falls in your 5th house (romance, children, creative self-expression, entertainment).
Aquarius, it falls in your 4th house (home, family, real estate, parents).
Pisces, it falls in your solar 3rd house (siblings, neighbors, short trips, cars, contracts, negotiations.).

Releasing with the Taurus Full Moon

Once the full moon peaks and the matter is concluded, it's over and the next step is to release any attachment to it. That's why, the period of time between the full moon and the next new moon (the time while the moon is waning or disappearing from sight) is energetically ripe for releasing things from our life.

You can release anything under any full moon, but since this one is saturated in Taurus energy, it's especially helpful for releasing:

Negative beliefs connected to money (including the ability to earn, save and manage it well), personal values, productivity and feelings of self-worth, as well as traits such as greed, rigidity, laziness, overindulgence, possessiveness, obstinance, and jealousy.

CLOSING THOUGHTS

Many of you have written to ask if a GoFundMe site has been set up for Chris Flisher. My understanding is that at the moment there's no plan to do so, but he is accepting donations to help pay for the daily home care he's going to need while he's undergoing treatment. For those of you who are interested, you can click here to make a donation to him by clicking the "Donate" button at the top of his page (BlueStarGlowing is the name of this account).

Until next week,

May Jupiter's blessings be your constant companion,
