Subject: Super Moon 🌕 Weekly Forecast & More💫

Dear Stargazers,

The August 1 full moon is the first of two full moons that will occur this month. It's also the second of four super moons this year (the first one occurred on July 3).

A super moon occurs when the moon's orbit comes closest to the earth. Not only does it usually look bigger and brighter than the typical full moon, but many people believe its influence on our emotions is stronger because of its close proximity. Personally, I can't say that I experience them that way, but apparently many people do. If you happen to be one of them, there's a good chance you're already feeling its influence.

Of course, the cosmos has more in store for us than the super moon, so let's get to it!

ASTROLOGY FORECAST

JULY 31 - AUGUST 6, 2023

All dates and times are given in EDT

Monday, July 31. A series of fruitful connections from the transiting Capricorn Moon to Uranus, Neptune and Pluto bode well for a productive day. Whether you're evaluating your career path, fine-tuning an idea or focused on meeting a deadline, you can expect to reap positive results from your efforts. At 10:13 PM, the transiting Moon goes void until it enters Aquarius at 11:58 PM. With the full moon less than 24 hours away, those of you who are sensitive to its energy could experience insomnia, restless sleep or a visionary dream.

Tuesday, Aug. 1. Full Moon in Aquarius. Details below.

Wednesday, Aug. 2. Although yesterday's full moon energy continues to heighten emotions throughout the day, the potential for an emotional upset or challenge is strongest from 10 AM - 1 PM. If so, don't be surprised if it's because someone feels you stepped on their toes (or vice versa). At 5:16 PM, the transiting Moon goes void until it enters Pisces at 11:06 PM. During that time, it's best to avoid making decisions or taking actions that require a definite outcome.

Thursday, Aug. 3. If you find yourself feeling a bit melancholy this morning, it means you're attuned to the transiting Pisces Moon and its stressful encounter with Saturn. As long as you remain aware that feelings aren't facts, you should be able to find off most (if not all) of its depressing influence. Either way, once the afternoon rolls around, your outlook is brighter and you're ready to be inspired.

Friday, Aug. 4. Thanks to a series of beneficial connections from the transiting Pisces Moon to Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, this is an excellent day for innovative thinking, artistic creativity and social activities. It's also a good day for spiritual practices, as well as spending time alone with your own thoughts. At 9:20 PM, the transiting Moon goes void until it moves into Aries at 11:20 PM.

Saturday, Aug. 5. With today's transiting Moon in Aries promoting self-motivation and action, this is an excellent day to initiate projects, make things happen and power through your to-do list. This is also a great day for getting out of the house, engaging in physical activities or playing a competitive sport or game. Given the enthusiastic energy of the day, not only is some type of a spontaneous plan likely to happen, but you can expect it to turn out well.

Sunday, Aug. 6. There is such an optimistic, vibrant energy in the air that you might wake up feeling as though you could conquer the world. If so, you're channeling the self-assured energy of today's Sun-Jupiter square.

Whenever the Sun and Jupiter aspect each other, their combined energies inspire confidence, enthusiasm and positivity. In this case, the aspect is an action-producing square, which also promotes a bit of competition between them.

While it's true that this energy can help you accomplish great things today, it can also promote unrealistic expectations. On that note, it's best to think twice before making bold promises. If not, your enthusiasm could easily inspire you to bite off more than you can chew.

FULL MOON at 9°16' AQUARIUS
August 1, 2023 • 2:32 PM EDT

This month's full moon in Aquarius places an emphasis on individuality and the desire for self-determination.

Challenged by freedom-loving Jupiter, you can expect it to stir up strong emotions surrounding any circumstances that limit your freedom of choice and/or hinder your personal growth. For many of you, this full moon will coincide with a conscious decision to create more freedom in your life.

If you are unsure whether an employer, personal relationship, group affiliation or belief system is too restrictive, this will bring the moment of truth. With Mercury opposite Saturn, you're likely to decide it's too oppressive and not worth the cost to your psyche.

While the Mars-Jupiter trine could inspire you to sever ties immediately, the Moon's quincunx to Mars warns that you will need to get some ducks in order, while the Venus-Neptune quincunx gives you a heads up that the situation is likely to feel awkward.

As a result, some of you may find yourself second-guessing your decision. If so, following the lead of the emotionally detached Water Bearer and viewing your situation from a clinical perspective will help you gain a clear perspective.

Although a decision you make at this time may be uncomfortable, the freedom that comes from it will create fertile ground from which your creativity, your heart and your overall self-expression will blossom.
