Subject: Solar Eclipse ✨ Venus-Jupiter Conjunction ✨ Weekly Forecast & More

Dear Stargazers,

On April 26, transiting Mercury moves into the pre-retrograde shadow, which means the fleet-footed messenger will start to lose momentum as he prepares to station retrograde on May 10. During this time, it's a good idea to confirm appointments, reservations and travel plans, as well as pay heed to any strange noises coming from cars or appliances.

That being said, this week comes with some wonderful daily energy. Love is definitely in the air this week, and the Taurus solar eclipse promises a fortunate new beginning.

WEEKLY FORECAST: APRIL 25 - MAY 1
All dates are given in the Eastern Time Zone

Planetary Activity

Apr. 26: Mercury enters the pre-retrograde shadow
Apr. 29: Pluto stations retrograde

Apr. 29: Mercury enters Gemini

Apr.30: Venus-Jupiter conjunction

Apr. 30: Solar eclipse in Taurus

Notable Aspects

Wed, Apr 27: Mercury sextile Jupiter • Venus conjunct Neptune

Your mind is likely to be focused more on pleasure than on work, and if there's a special someone in your life, you could feel inspired to express your feelings or plan a romantic evening. Whether you're together in person or chatting via text, you're likely to share some tender moments.

On a different note, creative endeavors, such as writing or painting, are also favored by today's influences as they stimulate your mind and stir your imagination. However, when it comes to money, it's best to avoid making significant financial decisions or expensive purchases today, because Venus is under Neptune's spell, her sense of value can be blurry.

Thurs., Apr. 28: Mercury trine Pluto

This is a wonderful influence that enhance your memory, concentration and attention to detail, making it an opportune time to begin a course of study. It's also very positive for communications. If you need to get your point across to others, and especially if you need to be persuasive, you can count on this energy to help you.

Sat., April 30: Venus conjunct Jupiter

Good fortune is likely to flow your way thanks to a heavenly embrace between Venus (lesser fortune) and Jupiter (greater fortune). This is a very fortuitous influence for love and money that could bring a romantic proposal, a generous gift or a financial windfall. Since Venus and Jupiter are both self-indulgent planets, some of you may decide to treat yourself to something special such as a luxury item or an expensive vacation. Note: This highly positive influence occurs the same day as the solar eclipse!

Sun., May 1: Venus sextile Pluto

Whenever Venus and Pluto get together, relationships can move to a different level, but whether it's for better or worse depends upon the nature of their aspect (connection). Happily, the gentle nature of today's aspect suggests that romantic feelings are likely to deepen. On a different note, today's influence could also coincide with a financial opportunity.

Daily Energy

Best Days: While there are other days during this time frame that are fine, these are the best of the bunch. What do I mean by the best? The energy is flowing, the moon isn't void and there's a greater likelihood for happy and/or productive outcomes.

Apr. 27, 30

Best Avoided: The energies on these days aren't favorable for new ventures or any activity where you want or need a definite result. If you must schedule something, you may have to think on your feet, or there may be a need for patience or flexibility.

TRANSITING PLUTO RETROGRADE

Goes Retrograde on April 29 at 28° Capricorn
Goes Direct on October 8, 2022 at 26° Capricorn

Like all retrograde transits, this one is best used for introspection rather than initiation, and in the case of Pluto, it's time to reflect on power and control. More to the point, it's time to examine our relationship with power. For example:

Do we find ourselves fighting for control in relationships, and when we're not the one calling the shots, do we feel helpless or vulnerable? On the other hand, do we tend to manipulate other people or enjoy way too many power trips?

Whether we discover a pattern of attracting control freaks, or we realize that we're the control freak who drives other people crazy, it's time to identify the psychological demons that promote it and banish them from our consciousness.

It's also time to identify any relationships or circumstances that are toxic to your physical, emotional and spiritual well being and yes, purge them from your life. If you don't, they'll continue to hold your soul's potential hostage and poison your chances for happiness.

However, if you do the work and clear away these negative influences, when Pluto moves forward it will be much easier to create a life that aligns with your soul's purpose and brings you happiness and fulfillment/

And seriously, isn't that what it's all about?

TRANSITING MERCURY IN GEMINI

April 29 - May 22

Retrograde on May 10

By nature, Mercury is a restless planet and when it’s in Gemini, it isn’t wired to sit still on any level. In astrology, Mercury and Gemini rule the third house of communications, as well as the physical brain, so you can bet that while the fleet-footed one is here, he’s engaged in conversation, even if it’s in his own mind.

In Gemini, Mercury reminds us that it’s time to clean out the intellectual cobwebs and grow on an intellectual level. Whereas the second house focuses on physical assets, the third house focuses on our cerebral ones. Here, we expand >> More

PARTIAL SOLAR ECLIPSE at 10°28 TAURUS

April 30, 2022 | 4:28 PM EDT

Given that this solar eclipse is conjunct Uranus, it's fair to say that the new beginning it promises could come as a welcome (or not) surprise. However, there are no other challenging aspects to it, and since the eclipse-Uranus conjunction is sextile (in harmony with) Mars (action), it bodes well that most of you will be smiling.

What makes this eclipse even more fortuitous is that when it happens, the Venus-Jupiter conjunction will have just barely separated. Not only is its energy still strong, but its sextile to Pluto deepens its potential for love, money and happiness.

Looking at the overall energy, this eclipse should be good to most of you. For those who might receive an unwelcome surprise or a blindside, my feeling is that it will turn out to be a blessing in disguise. Eclipses can be game-changers, and when they throw us off course, it's to get us on the right course. Our soul's course.
