| Hello Stargazers!
While all new moons offer opportunities for growth, the Scorpio new moon is one of my personal favorites. Why? Because Scorpio is rules regeneration.
As we approach the end of one year and the beginning of the next one, the Scorpio new moon encourages us to examine our lives on the deepest levels.
If we discover any areas where we feel unfulfilled, the energy of this new moon can serve as the first step towards transforming them. Further below I've included specific insights into this particular Scorpio new moon, as well as advice for making the most of it.
Venus-Jupiter Conjunction
The annual Venus-Jupiter conjunction takes place tomorrow (Monday). I'm seeing a lot of posts about this fabulous energy on social media, and while that's true, I'm noticing that these same posts are ignoring the fact that there's a Mercury-Neptune square going on as well.
I've already posted guidance about this on my Facebook page, and since this influence is building and already in effect, for for your convenience I've included it below.
MONDAY: VENUS CONJUNCT JUPITER. This energy is known for promoting love, money and optimism and benefits all types of relationships. While a financial windfall is possible, the self-indulgent nature of this energy makes it more likely that you'll spend money on entertainment or on yourself. However, with MERCURY SQUARING NEPTUNE, there could be a little rain on your Venus-Jupiter parade. This influence warns against taking anything at face value and is known to coincide with clerical errors. So, if you're spending money, be sure to check your receipts.

Like all new moons, this one invites you to set intentions, plant seeds and initiate new actions; and just like every Scorpio new moon, it's saturated in transformational energy that promotes renewal.
However, in addition to supporting intentions for something new, the energy of the Scorpio new moon is especially helpful for planting seeds for change.
In terms of the aspects to this new moon,a mild energy (sextile) to Pluto, Scorpio's ruler, reinforces the theme of a new beginning via some form of transformation or rebirth. So does its square to the lunar nodes, which emphasizes the need to let go of what we lean on (the south node) and begin something that will help us evolve (the north node). It's trine to Chiron promises that if we do so, regeneration and healing will follow.
However, there's a quincunx to Uranus. Although a quincunx is a minor aspect, it's very tight in orb and it suggests an uncomfortable situation, one that may require us to make some adjustments.
Profound growth often comes from doing what we fear, or at the very least, going outside of our comfort zone.
The energy of this new moon offers the opportunity for such growth if we're willing to take a deep breath and do what needs to be done. On that note, to make the most of this energy, you:
1. May need to release something. Full moons coincide with endings, so it makes sense to let something go at that time. This is a new moon, but whenever Scorpio is involved, so is transformation and/or rebirth. In order to be transformed or reborn, something has to die. So while a Scorpio new moon is about initiation, if there's anything that needs to be transformed or reborn in your life, you may experience some type of ending as well.
2. Must consciously tap into it. Why? Because when all of the aspects (planetary connections) to the new moon are flowing as they are here, there's an ease to to the energy that promotes harmony but not motivation. Without a hard energy activating it, the positive energy will just sit there (so to speak) and feel good. Since there's no hard energy to do the job, you need to be the match that ignites this positive energy on your behalf.
