Tomorrow's full moon in Scorpio is such an intense one, and odds are many of you are feeling it already. Although its common for full moon events to occur before the full moon actually happens, its influence can be felt strongly for 5 days after it releases its energy.


As it happens, just 12 hours later Pluto (the planetary ruler of this full moon) stations retrograde. Collectively speaking, it's a time to dig deep, and if need be, get our hands dirty as we reflect on matters connected to power and control. On an individual level, it's also a time for reflection but it's much more personal.

There could be a need for flexibility today because this influence often coincides with a sudden event or an unexpected change in plans. Although such an event could bring some type of welcome relief, it's more like to bring an unwelcome disruption to your day. FULL MOON IN SCORPIO at 7°06'

This month's full moon isn't an easy one. In fact, it's a frustrated one, but fortunately there's an energetic relief valve that if used properly could result in positive change.


Full moons tend to be emotional, and when it's in Scorpio you can expect the depth of feeling to be more intense than usual.


Looking at the aspects, the full moon's square to Saturn puts a spotlight on our fears and insecurities, while its opposition to Uranus tells us that our emotions may be extreme, especially when it comes to what we need to feel safe and secure.


Every Scorpio moon has a strong sense of self-preservation, and this one's square to Saturn is triggering its fight or flight response. Add in the the impulsive nature of Uranus, and our emotional self-control may be in short supply.


Fortunately, there's a trine between the Scorpio full moon and Mars (action). This aspect creates a positive flow of energy that can be consciously used to channel our emotional responses into positive action.


The emphasis is on the word consciously because since the moon represents our unconscious behaviors, we are likely to respond to its energy with knee-jerk reactions. Should that be the case, we can still expect the trine to Mars to inspire action. However, whether or not such action is productive will depend on the nature of our emotional reflexes.

Pluto transits retrograde every year for about 5 months, and like all retrograde transits, this one is best used for introspection rather than initiation.


While Pluto is retrograde, it's time to look within for any repetitive patterns, obsessive thoughts or other psychological demons and banish them from your consciousness. Likewise, it's time to identify and purge relationships and circumstances that are toxic to your physical, emotional and spiritual well being. 


If they're not released, they'll continue to hold your potential hostage and poison your chances for happiness. 


However, if you do the work and clear away these negative influences, once Pluto moves forward you'll find it much easier to create a life that aligns with your soul's purpose and brings you happiness and fulfillment on a daily basis.
