Dear Stargazers,

The influence of last week's full moon in Aries was certainly apparent in the combative nature of the first presidential debate held just two days before. Of course, the bigger news came shortly after the full moon, when it was revealed that the President was diagnosed with Covid-19.

For those of you who wrote to ask whether the announcement of his illness and hospitalization showed in his chart, the answer is yes. Ruled by Mars, Aries is associated with inflammation and fevers, and this full moon fell in his 8th house (viruses) and made a tight square (provocative action) to his natal Mercury (respiratory) while making an opposition to Neptune (hospitals). As to whether the debates or Supreme court nomination will proceed as planned, given that Mercury is going retrograde on October 13, a delay wouldn't be surprising.
