Dear Stargazers,

For those of you who subscribe to my podcast, I am going to be adding 6 episodes of He Says She Says Astrology to my YouTube channel. These episodes were released a separate show in an account that I maintained and paid for since its inception. These are the last episodes that Chris and I did together, and after thoughtful consideration, I've decided to close the account and add the shows to my channel in a separate playlist. You can enjoy listening to all of Chris's Turning of the Wheel shows (which includes the rest of our HSSS shows), on iTunes, YouTube and other media outlets.

Looking at the week ahead, Mercury stations direct at 26°05 Taurus on June 3. Although it remains in the shadow until June 17, things should be feeling back to normal from June 11.

When Saturn reached 25° Aquarius, it began squaring the May 15 eclipse point at 25°18' Scorpio. However, when Saturn stations retrograde on June 4, at 25°15' Aquarius, the square to the eclipse point will be minutes from being exact and Mercury will be direct. This suggests that eclipse-related events that were delayed because of Mercury retrograde, or new developments connected to eclipse events that did happen, are likely to occur this week.

Now let's take a look at the rest of what the heavens have in store for us, which includes a New Moon, as well as the important purpose of this Saturn retrograde cycle.

WEEKLY FORECAST: MAY 30 - JUNE 5

Daily Energy

Best Days: While there are other days during this time frame that are fine, these are the best of the bunch. What do I mean by the best? The energy is flowing, the moon isn't void and there's a greater likelihood for happy and/or productive outcomes.

May 30, June 2

Best Avoided: The energies on these days aren't favorable for new ventures or any activity where you want or need a definite result. If you must schedule something, you may have to think on your feet, or there may be a need for patience or flexibility.

NEW MOON at 9°03' GEMINI

May 30, 2022 • 7:31 AM EDT

This month's Gemini new moon brings an uplifting energy that will help you shake off the intensity of the recent eclipse.

Like all new moons, this is a time for setting intentions but with Mercury retrograde, the seeds you plant could take a bit longer to manifest. While this would be true under any new moon when Mercury is retrograde, it carries more weight for this one because Mercury is Gemini's planetary ruler, so by extension, it rules this new moon as well.

Although this new moon is unaspected, it's still an excellent one for brainstorming new ideas, but again, with Mercury retrograde those ideas may be subject to revision after it goes direct.

Fortunately, Mercury stations direct on June 3, which means any delays should be minimal and as it picks up speed, so will you.

Getting Personal

So which life areas are being targeted in your life for a new beginning? They're revealed by the horoscope house that's hosting the new moon in your chart. If you don't know which house holds 9°03' Gemini in your horoscope, you can refer to the list below to find out where the new moon falls in your solar (sun-sign based) chart.

If your Sun sign is:

Aries, it falls in your solar 3rd house (siblings, neighbors, short trips, cars, contracts, negotiations.).

Taurus, it falls in your 2nd house (income, spending, personal values, self-esteem, tangible assets).

Gemini, it falls in your 1st house (your physical body, attitude towards life).

Cancer, it falls in your 12th house (spirituality, creativity, mental health, addictions).

Leo, it falls in your 11th house (groups, associations, hopes, casual friends, colleagues). Read the 5th house as well.

Virgo, it falls in your 10th house (career, fame, status, reputation). Read the 4th house as well.

Libra, it falls in your 9th house (education, law, religion, foreign and long-distance travel, publishing).

Scorpio, it falls in your 8th house (intimacy, shared resources, other people's support, birth, death, estate matters).

Sagittarius, it falls in your 7th house (marriage and all one-to-one relationships including best friends, adversaries, business partners and clients). Read the 1st house as well.

Capricorn, it falls in your 6th house (health, work, pets, diet, nutrition).

Aquarius, it falls in your 5th house (romance, children, creative self-expression, entertainment).

Pisces, it falls in your 4th house (home, family, real estate, parents).

Manifesting with the Gemini New Moon

You can set any intention under any new moon but when it happens to be in Gemini, it's especially favorable for:

Actions, intentions and affirmations connected to siblings, cousins or neighbors, short trips, networking, automobiles, writing, teaching, learning and communication skills, as well as for attracting skilled secretaries, bookkeepers, tutors, driving instructors or agents.

SATURN STATIONS RETROGRADE at 25°15' AQUARIUS
June 4 - October 22, 2022

Each year, Saturn travels retrograde for approximately 4 months, and when it began its reflective journey through the sign of the Water Bearer in 2021, I shared my thoughts in the May 16 newsletter about what we could expect from May 23 - October 2, 2021:

  • "Collectively speaking, as Saturn retrogrades through the sign of self-determination we can expect much discussion about matters related to freedom and independence. Since Saturn represents the government (and authority figures in general) and Aquarius represents technology, we can expect to hear much more about mandated vaccinations and digital vaccine passports during the coming months."

And that's exactly what happened as cities, states and nations proposed / imposed mandates and digital passports that were required to access certain venues, travel freely and maintain employment.

Cycles repeat.

On April 30, Saturn came within 1° away from its retrograde station, and a week later the

the UK reported its first case of monkeypox. On May 13, Saturn reached 25° Aquarius, and since that time:

  • At least 118 cases have been confirmed in 12 countries with more under review

  • Belgium has introduced a mandatory monkeypox quarantine

  • The EU's infectious disease agency is recommending that its member nations review its smallpox vaccine supply

  • Many countries are purchasing vaccines, including the USA which ordered 13 million doses of the Jynneos vaccines.

Does this mean monkeypox will be the new Covid, and we'll see new lockdowns and vaccine mandates?

No, but it does validate that the focus of Saturn's journey through Aquarius is about about the scope of government authority (Saturn) over individual freedom and self-determination (Aquarius).

This theme first became evident when Saturn first entered Aquarius (March 21 - July), which was the time the lockdown and social distancing began and it continued throughout 2021.

And while things may have gotten back to normal in many respects, we are see seeing this theme with respect to the mandates. For example, here in the USA, many states are seeking to mandate the vaccine for K-12 for the 2022 term. There are also officials wish to change the age of consent to enable young teens to get the vaccine without parental consent, which brings in a variation of the theme. In that case, it speaks to whether the parent or the state should be the authority (Saturn) over collective student bodies (Aquarius).

In the USA, we can also see this theme in connection with Roe v. Wade. On May 3, just a few days after Saturn came within a 1° orb of its station, a draft opinion overturning Roe v. Wade was leaked to the press. The final decision will be released this month, and once again, we see the theme of government authority (Saturn) and individual freedom and self-determination (Aquarius).

Although mandates and abortion are polarizing issues, Saturn in Aquarius isn't about which side you're on (and neither is this article).

These just happen to be the issues that will help Saturn in Aquarius achieve its purpose, which is to define how much authority the government should have over an individual's life.

Collectively speaking, while Saturn is retrograde it's time to reevaluate which individual choices we're willing to allow the government to make on our behalf.

Make no mistake, this is no small matter. How much authority we give the government over an individual's life while Saturn is in Aquarius will matter greatly when Pluto gets there.

Getting Personal

Look to the house where Saturn is retrograding in your chart to see which life areas are up for reevaluation, and keep in mind that issues related to freedom and independence in connection to them may need to be reexamined and/or redefined.

If you don't know which house holds 25°15' Aquarius in your horoscope, look below to find out where Saturn is retrograding in your solar (sun-sign based) chart.

If your Sun sign is:

Aries, Saturn retrograde in the solar eleventh house indicates a need to redefine your personal goals. What are your innermost wishes? What is it that you long to do?

Taurus, Saturn retrograde in the solar tenth house indicates a need to redefine your professional goals and reevaluate your position in the world at large.

Gemini, Saturn retrograde in the solar ninth house indicates a need to redefine your truth by reexamining your religious, philosophical and political beliefs. What do you believe in? What do you really stand for?

Cancer, Saturn retrograde in the solar eighth house indicates a need to redefine how you handle power and pursue your desires. Do you dominate or surrender? Are you honest or do you play mind games?

Leo, Saturn retrograde in the solar seventh house indicates a need to redefine your significant one-to-one relationships (marriage, business, best friends). What is the purpose of these relationships? Are you moving together in the same direction or are you drifting apart?

Virgo, Saturn retrograde in the solar sixth house indicates a need to redefine your health, your work and your daily routine. What habits or activities are bogging you down? What is draining your energy?

Libra, Saturn retrograde in the solar fifth house indicates a need to redefine how your ego expresses itself creatively as well as with other people (e.g., children, lovers). Have you ignored your talents? Have you used affection as a means for gaining attention?

Scorpio, Saturn retrograde in the solar fourth house indicates a need to restructure your innermost self and redefine your domestic obligations. Is your life out of balance? Are you paying too much attention to your family and neglecting your own needs?

Sagittarius, Saturn retrograde in the solar third house indicates a need to reorganize your thought processes (day to day thinking) including how you communicate with others on a daily basis.

Capricorn, Saturn retrograde in the solar second house indicates a need to redefine your material, emotional and moral values. Turning inwards, you are not only forced to identify what you hold most dear, but you must establish priorities as well.

Aquarius, Saturn retrograde in the solar first house indicates a need to redefine yourself in some way. It could be physical (e.g., losing weight), emotional (what do you really desire?) or perhaps a need to establish boundaries. Either way, it was a time to look inward, examine what was going on and discover what makes you tick.

Pisces, Saturn retrograde in the solar twelfth house indicates a need to re-evalulate and redefine your subconscious beliefs. What psychological ghosts are haunting your psyche? What limiting beliefs are holding you back?

Remembering those who served and paid the ultimate price.

Until next week,

May Jupiter's blessings be your constant companion,
