Subject: New Moon in Capricorn ⭐ Uranus Urges Change ⭐ Weekly Forecast & More

Dear Stargazers,

I was happy to team up with Vital Proteins® again wanted to include this in last week's newsletter but the link arrived too late. Fortunately, it's only January 10 so it's still very timely. Click here to read What Every Zodiac Sign Can Expect in 2021, According to an Astrologer.

On January 15, transiting Mercury will enter the pre-retrograde shadow. You can check out the dates all of the shadows (pre and post) along with the retrogrades simply by clicking here to view the Mercury retrograde calendar on my website.

Of course, that's not the only thing happening this week. We also have the first new moon of the year just after midnight on January 13 (which means it will be on January 12 for those of you who live west of EST) that's followed by Uranus stationing direct. What does it mean for you? Scroll down to read more!

PLANETARY FORECAST

January 11 - 17

All dates are given in the Eastern Time Zone.

PLANETARY EVENTS

Jan. 13: New moon in Capricorn

Jan. 14: Uranus stations direct

Jan. 15: Mercury enters the pre-retrograde shadow

BEST DAYS: JAN. 11, 16

While there are other days during this time frame that are fine, these are the best of the bunch. What do I mean by the best? The energy is flowing, the moon isn't void and there's a greater likelihood for happy and/or productive outcomes.

BEST AVOIDED: JAN. 13

The energies on these days aren't favorable for new ventures or any activity where you want or need a definite result. If you must schedule something, you may have to think on your feet, or there may be a need for patience or flexibility.

NOTABLE ASPECTS

Jan. 11: Mercury conjunct Jupiter

Jan. 12: Mercury square Uranus

Jan. 13: Mars square Saturn

Jan. 13: Venus trine Uranus

Jan. 14: Sun conjunct Pluto

Jan. 17: Jupiter square Uranus

NEW MOON at 23°13 CAPRICORN

January 13, 2021| 12:01 AM EST

This month's new moon in the practical, determined and achievement-oriented sign of Capricorn is conjunct Pluto, and in this case, that's actually a good thing because it adds a sense of focus, power and resourcefulness to it.

As the natural ruler of the 10th house, Capricorn rules the life areas of career, fame, authority figures, achievements and honors. If you want to climb the ladder of success, enhance your reputation or make a name for yourself, you definitely want to tap into this new moon energy.

On a different note, since Capricorn also rules life direction, if you've been uncertain about where you should be headed, now is the time to ask for clarity.

There are two caveats to this new moon. First, since there are no other aspects to it besides the conjunction to Pluto provoking action, self-motivation and conscious activity on your part will go a long way in helping your new moon intentions to blossom.

Second, there's a good chance that this new moon energy will feel a bit explosive because of some of the accompanying planetary energy. More specifically, there's a fiery Mars-Uranus conjunction in Taurus that's likely to react badly when it encounters resistance from the level-headed Saturn-Jupiter-Mercury conjunction in Aquarius.

Looking on the brighter side, Uranus is trining Venus, which means the day could bring some unexpected love or money into your life.

Getting Personal

So which life areas are being targeted in your life for a new beginning? They're revealed by the horoscope house that's hosting the new moon in your chart. URANUS STATIONS DIRECT at 6°43' TAURUS

January 14 - August 19, 2021

Since Uranus spends roughly 7 years in each sign, it devotes quite a bit of time to awakening, revolutionizing, liberating or just plain changing the life areas ruled by the house it happens to be visiting in your chart.

Since retrograde cycles are meant to be used introspectively, during the past several months while Uranus was backpedaling it was a time to reflect on matters of personal freedom and awaken us to any relationships and circumstances that made us feel stuck, stale or inhibited about expressing ourselves in a way that's true to us.

On January 14, the planet of awakenings will station direct and spend the next seven months moving forward through the zodiac. From now until August 19, it's time to put that awakening to good use by making changes that honor our individuality and allow us to express our originality, beliefs and ideas in a way that's uniquely meaningful to us.

While everyone experiences this cycle, if you were born between April 6 - May 5; July 29 - August; October 29 - November 7; or January 26 - February 4, you will feel the urge to make changes in your life more strongly than the rest of the zodiac.

May Jupiter's blessings be your constant companion,
