Dear Stargazers,

The coming week is apt to be a tense one for many of you due to a number of provocative planetary aspects that can easily promote anxiety, arguments and frustration even under the best of circumstances.

And what's more, even the promise of the Taurus new moon isn't all that promising.

To help you navigate your week and hopefully reduce the potential effects of this energy in your life, I recorded a weekly forecast in which I go into detail about the influence of the aspects, provide additional details into the new moon beyond what I've written here, offer my insights into Pluto's retrograde cycle and provide some practical guidance for handling it all!

BEST DAYS

While there are other days during this time frame that are fine, these are the best of the bunch. What do I mean by the best? The energy is flowing, the moon isn't void and there's a greater likelihood for happy and/or productive outcomes.

BEST AVOIDED

The energies on these days aren't favorable for new ventures or any activity where you want or need a definite result. If you must schedule something, you may have to think on your feet, or there may be a need for patience or flexibility.

NEW MOON AT 3°24' TAURUS
April 22, 2020 | 10:26 PM
Washington, DC

This month's new moon takes place in Taurus, the sign that rules income, tangible goods and values.

As it happens, the new moon is conjunct Uranus, which rules unexpected events, separations, rebellions and panic, and the three of them (Sun, Moon, Uranus) are squaring Saturn (authority, limitation and fear).

Saturn (limitations) squaring the Sun/Moon/Uranus conjunction in Taurus (tangible items) suggests that shortages will continue during the coming weeks, and when items are received in stock they're going to continue to be limited. It also suggests that while we'll see more protests in the USA as well as in the world, we're also likely to see local, state and/or federal governments crack down on them.

Getting Personal

It may be hard to think about new beginnings if you can't act on them but the truth of the matter is that while many new beginnings start with an action (meeting someone or getting a job), most beginnings start with a thought (I'm ready to meet someone; I want a new position).

Life is NEVER stagnantAs you consider which life areas are being influenced by this new moon, (they're revealed by the horoscope house that's hosting this new moon in your chart), remember that it's okay if you can't take concrete action anytime soon because the energetic seeds you're planting don't have an expiration date.

If you don't know which house holds 3°24' of Taurus in your horoscope, you can refer to the list below to find out where the new moon falls in your solar (sun-sign based) chart.

If your Sun sign is:

Aries, it falls in your 2nd house (income, spending, personal values, self-esteem, tangible assets).
