| | Florence Scovel Shinn was clearly ahead of her time when she became a New Thought teacher and metaphysical writer.
While it's true that our words are far more powerful - perhaps even magical- than most of us ever realize, it's not just the words that create our reality. It's the vibration (the energy) that we attach to them. It's that simple... but then again it's not.
It's simple in the sense that we're always attracting circumstances and creating future experiences through our words.
Where it gets complicated is that until we learn otherwise, we also do it reactively out of fear instead of proactively from a place of confidence.
And then there are the seemingly positive behaviors we engage in on a daily basis that are actually prosperity killers.
Finally, for some of us it's karma. Manifesting prosperity (whether it be money, health, love or any of the forms of prosperity) is something our soul came here to learn, and when that's the case, it shows in the birth chart. |
| I spent decades struggling with prosperity, and I still remember the frustration, the anger, the resentment and the tears... so many tears!
Then in 2002, I attended a week-long Heal Your Life® Teacher training program. Although becoming a teacher was a plus, the reason I signed up was because I was determined to change my life.
And I did. Less than a year later, I was in love, my law practice was thriving, my life was flourishing, and I was happier than I had been in years.
Since that time, I've had my share of ups and downs, including a total loss of income in 2008. However, the principles I learned in that prosperity bootcamp, together with additional studies and my own personal insights, are what enabled me to create a successful new business and a fulfilling personal life.
