Subject: Full Moon Update 🌕 Free Download 🎁 and More!

Dear Stargazers,

I am frequently asked about Mercury Retrograde, or more precisely, about when it (or the next one) starts, as well as when the shadows begin and end. It can be very helpful to have this information, especially when planning trips or event, which is why I post a Mercury Retrograde calendar on my website every year.

As a thank you for subscribing to my newsletter, I thought I would give you a PDF copy of the Mercury Retrograde calendar so you can have it at your fingertips.

As you know, I'm still not back to my regular schedule, and it makes sense given the astrological influence of this location.

You see, when we relocate to a new area, so does our horoscope. Although the natal (birth) chart still controls, the relocated chart exerts an influence, and in my case, it's been a bit of disruptive one.

In this location, Uranus is in my 4th house (home) and has been making itself known through numerous technological and electrical issues (Uranus rules both of these areas) in my home.

Still, I'm glad to be here, and I suppose it's teaching me a much-needed lesson about going with the flow 😉

Of course, it's much easier to go with the flow when it's a smooth one and that goes for energetic flows as well.

And on that note, I want to share my insights into the upcoming Leo full moon, which could coincide with e a drama-filled event for many of you.

FULL MOON at 16°41' LEO

February 5, 2023 | 1:29 PM EST

Many of you will feel the influence of this contentious full moon strongly on Friday, especially if you have planets or sensitive points at or near 16° of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus or Scorpio.

The reason why is that the transiting Sun will be squaring Uranus, and its influence will continue to be felt on Saturday.

Full moons ask us to find a healthy balance between our wants (Sun) and our needs (Moon), and when it occurs in Leo the focus is on the need for attention, recognition, praise and affection.

If you feel overlooked, slighted, ignored or unloved in some area of our lives, or on the flip side if you feel someone else has been getting too much undeserved attention, you're not likely to keep quiet about it.

Since this full moon squares Uranus, it adds an unpredictable, defiant and highly inflammatory vibe to its energy that could trigger extreme emotional responses.

While clearing the air can be helpful, since this full moon occurs less than 24 hours after Venus squares Mars, if the matter involves a romantic union, you could find yourself flying off the handle and/or issuing ultimatums.

Alternatively, if you've been seriously neglecting someone, you could find yourself on the receiving end of one.

Either way, it pays to be bear in mind that Uranus is a planet of separation and endings under a full moon are usually final.

A good way to avoid feeling overwhelmed by this full moon (as well as sidestep and/or diffuse emotional showdowns initiated by others or yourself) is by tapping into the logical, impersonal and detached energy of its solar (Aquarius) side.

For example, if you're the one feeling neglected or resentful, step back and consider the possibility that you might be channeling the not-so-wonderful side of Leo that's thin-skinned, refuses to share the spotlight and takes things way too personally.

And if you're the one in the line of fire, step back and consider whether you've been channeling the not-so-wonderful side of Aquarius that can be cold, disinterested and condescending.

In short, you need to keep a cool head.

Getting Personal

The house in your horoscope that holds this full moon is where the action is in your chart, and something related to one (or more) of the life areas ruled by it may come to light, to fruition or to an end. If you don't know which house holds 16°41' Leo in your horoscope, you can read your rising sign if you know it or you can refer to the list below to find out where the full moon falls in your solar (sun-sign based) chart.

If your Sun sign is:

Aries, it falls in your 5th house (romance, children, creative self-expression, entertainment).

Taurus, it falls in your 4th house (home, family, real estate, parents).

Gemini, it falls in your solar 3rd house (siblings, neighbors, short trips, cars, contracts, negotiations.).

Cancer, it falls in your 2nd house (income, spending, personal values, self-esteem, tangible assets).

Leo, it falls in your 1st house (your physical body, attitude towards life).

Virgo, it falls in your 12th house (spirituality, creativity, mental health, addictions).

Capricorn, it falls in your 8th house (intimacy, shared resources, other people's support, birth, death, estate matters).

Aquarius, it falls in your 7th house (marriage and all one-to-one relationships including best friends, adversaries, business partners and clients).

Pisces, it falls in your 6th house (health, work, pets, diet, nutrition).

Releasing with the LEO Full Moon

You can release anything under any full moon, but when it's saturated in Leo energy, it's especially favorable for releasing:

Negative beliefs or fears related to romantic relationships, social gatherings, creative talents and expression, pregnancy and children, athletic ability, self-confidence and fun in general. It's also helpful for releasing a romantic relationship or recreational interest that no longer fulfills you.

Traits or tendencies such as conceit, vanity, egotism, belligerence, extravagance, being thin-skinned and arrogance.

On Feb 3, 2015 there was also a full moon in Leo. My brother and I were with my Mom, who was ready to cross over and a bit impatient that it hadn't happened yet. After I assured her that the full moon would take her, I joked that I knew something about this subject, to which she replied, "You're the best at what you do."

Those were her last words to me, and yes, they were just a mothers opinion, but how lucky I am to have that memory. And how blessed I am to have had her as my mother.

I was also fortunate to have had such a good friend as Chris Flisher, who took his place among the stars last year on February 3. I loved working with him, and I miss him dearly. If you're not familiar with his astrology podcasts, click here to check out his YouTube channel.

Before I close this newsletter, I'd like to ask you a favor.

One of my projects this year is to offer a variety of affordable astrology workshops, as well as continue to offer free lessons via my podcast.

While I have a list of topics, it would be extremely helpful to hear what you're most interested in learning.
