Dear Stargazers,

It's hard to believe that the year is almost half over, but in just a few weeks we'll be midway through 2019 and headed towards a new decade and the Saturn-Pluto conjunction.

I'll be discussing this planetary event in coming months, but until then I want to say that this alignment isn't all doom and gloom. In fact, for some it may coincide with a major success or a dream come true.

And now a few announcements:

Your Chiron Story

If you purchased a Chiron Story reading and haven't received it, send me an email because according to wetransfer.com, they've all been delivered.

Live Online Event (Save the Date)

I'm in the process of putting together a live 90-minute event on Sunday, July 21 at 9 AM PDT / 12 PM EDT that will feature a Q&A so you'll have the opportunity to ask me questions.

The announcement with all of the details will be sent out the week of June 30, and it will include an early-bird discount. For now, I'll say that it will be conducted via Zoom so you'll be able to see as well as hear everything. If you're not familiar with Zoom, you can join the event by simply clicking a link that will be sent to you (no software to download) or you can join from any mobile device by downloading its free app.

As for the topic, I'm still deciding on which one I want to offer up first. If there's something you'd love to learn more about, by all means let me know.
Podcast News

As many of you already know, we have two eclipses coming up in July, and yes, I will be releasing a podcast about them. However, given my client schedule, there isn't going to be a new podcast this week so expect a show about the eclipses to drop the week of June 24.

On another note, Shortcut to the Soul is now available on Radio.com via its free app (available here). To catch up on recent episodes, click here.

June 6 Episode:  Relationship Astrology
Relationship astrology isn’t just for romance, and synastry (chart comparison) isn’t just about cross-aspects. In this episode, I show you where to find specific relationships in the chart and explain the importance of analyzing chart overlays and affinities. BEST DAYS

While there are other days during this time frame that are fine, these are the best of the bunch. What do I mean by the best? The energy is flowing, the moon isn't void and there's a greater likelihood for happy and/or productive outcomes.

Jun. 22, 28

BEST AVOIDED

The energies on these days aren't favorable for new ventures or any activity where you want or need a definite result. If you must schedule something, you may have to think on your feet, or there may be a need for patience or flexibility.

FULL MOON at 25°53' SAGITTARIUS
June 17, 2019 | 4:31 AM
Washington, DC

As the ninth sign of the zodiac, Sagittarius represents truth, knowledge and expansion. Consequently, the focus of this month's full moon is about information that enlightens us and/or enables us to set the record straight in some area of our lives.

In the full moon chart, Jupiter Rx at 18°38' Sagittarius is conjunct the Moon. It's a bit wide for my taste (7°16') because it's a separating aspect that's already well past its peak, and the same can be said for the Moon's square to Neptune at 18°43' Pisces.

So what does this mean?  It means that while this full moon isn't being strongly supported by  a planetary aspect, it's not being hindered by one either.

If this was a new moon (where the Sun and Moon are conjunct), its manifesting energy would be on the weaker side. However, since it's a full moon, the opposition between the Sun and the Moon supplies the necessary tension to bring something to fruition, to light or to a conclusion.

In terms of the accompanying aspects, the Mercury-Mars conjunction can trigger sudden inspirations, but keep in mind it can also promote impatience and a tendency to jump to conclusions.

It's important to be conscious of this energy, because the Jupiter-Neptune square suggests the need for practical awareness in order to avoid making mountains out of molehills, or on the other end of the spectrum, adopting a pollyanna-like attitude.

On the upside, Saturn's sextile to Neptune supports practical vision and its energy is a grounding influence. However, since the sextile is a mild influence, you may need to consciously tap into it.
Getting Personal

So which area in your life might experience a big reveal or some type of conclusion?

If you don't know which house holds 25°53' of Sagittarius in your horoscope, you can refer to the list below to find out which house the full moon falls in your solar chart. Since a full moon involves the sun and the moon, be sure to consider the life areas ruled by the opposite house as well.

Releasing with the Sagittarius Full Moon

You can release anything under any full moon, but since this one is saturated in Sagittarius energy, it's especially helpful for releasing:

Negative beliefs or fears connected to success, justice, religion, abundance, travel, philanthropy and foreign people or places.

Traits or tendencies related to arrogance, hypocrisy, rudeness, wastefulness, overindulgence, fanaticism, bigotry, laziness and dishonesty.

NEPTUNE STATIONS RETROGRADE
June 21 - November 27, 2019

In its highest form, Neptune is the planet of intuition, inspiration, and spiritual awakening; and in its lowest form, it is the planet of illusion, confusion and deception.

While Neptune is retrograde, it signals a time when we are being guided to distinguish between genuine vision and self-deception. >>Read More

April 20 - May 15, 2019

After spending several weeks in Cancer’s cozy, quiet and sensitive world, it was time for Mercury to wring out his watery wings and bask in the warmth of the Sun.

CLOSING THOUGHTS

In the northern hemisphere, the June solstice marks the beginning of summer and ushers in a time to venture out of our homes. It's a time to mingle with others, connect with nature and enjoy the bounty of the season.

As the longest day of the year, the summer solstice is a time to celebrate the light that shines in all of us.

In the southern hemisphere, the June solstice marks the beginning of winter and ushers in a time to withdraw into our homes. It's a time to look within, connect with our higher selves and appreciate the stillness of the season.

As the shortest day of the year, the winter solstice is a time to celebrate the restorative spirit that dwells in all of us.

Whether your days will be growing shorter or longer, may  the Solstice mark a new cycle of peace in your life.

Until next time,

May Jupiter's blessings be your constant companion,
