DEAR STARGAZERS,

Mercury stations direct on March 28, and when it does ALL of the planets will be moving in direct motion until Jupiter stations retrograde at 1 PM EDT on April 10.

While Mercury retrograde's shadow will be influencing this period, the post-retrograde shadow is usually much kinder than the pre-retrograde one or the retrograde cycle itself, so this energy should still be helpful for getting things off the ground.
SHORTCUT TO THE SOUL

As many of you already know, Mercury retrograde apparently hijacked last week's episode of Shortcut to the Soul. It will be re-relesaed on Thursday and features an interview with astrologer, Seth scholar and internet radio host, Anthony Picco. Click here for listening options for IOS & Android devices.
HE SAYS SHE SAYS ASTROLOGY

A new episode featuring a discussion about the second house of income, assets and values was released last week. The podcast is currently available on iTunes and RadioPublic (IOS and Android). You can also click here to stream it directly from my website.

EQUINOX INSIGHTS
March 20, 2019

Each year, the March equinox marks the exact moment the Sun crosses the celestial equator from south to north.

In doing so, ittdeclares the arrival of spring in the northern hemisphere and the beginning of autumn in the southern one.

It also marks the Aries ingress.

For those of us in the northern hemisphere, and especially those who experience four distinct seasons, spring heralds a time of birth and rebirth. For our southern neighbors, autumn is a time of reflection and transition as summer fades and winter beckons.

Although the March equinox coincides with different physical seasons depending on where one lives in the world, it brings the same metaphysical season to everyone no matter which hemisphere we call home.

Each year, we experience renewal on a spiritual level as the Sun, which represents our heart and soul enters Aries, the sign of I AM, and reminds us that we have the power to initiate, create and manifest our dreams.

If you're not yet where you want to be in life or have yet to achieve a heart-felt desire, it's time to embrace the bold, decisive and never-say-die energy of the Ram and make it a reality.

FULL MOON at 0°09' LIBRA
March 20, 2019 | 9:43 PM
Washington, DC

With Mercury still retrograde at this full moon, there's a good chance you won't see much growth in connection to your March 6 new moon intentions.

There's another reason as well, and that's the condition of this full moon. What do I mean by condition? I'm talking about the aspects to it, which are few in number and do little to support it.

Aside from the Sun, the only aspects to the Libra moon are an extremely tight quincunx to Uranus in Taurus and an opposition to Chiron
Technically speaking, there are other aspects to the moon but they peaked before the full moon, which means their energies were released by the time of this lunation. With only a minor aspect in play to Uranus and an aspect to a minor planet, it can be viewed as an unaspected full moon.

To be clear, there are a few aspects in this chart, but because they're between other planets and not don't involve the moon, they have no influence on it.

So where does that leave us?

It leaves us with a full moon shining its spotlight on our most important relationships and making us aware of any issue that makes us feel uncomfortable, insecure or wounded.

Once aware, we need to decide what we're going to do about it. With Mercury retrograde, it's not the best time to take action, but it's an excellent time for introspection and reexamination.

When all is said and done, you and/or your partner may be willing to make certain adjustments or compromises to make the union work. On the other hand, either one of you may decide it's not worth the trouble.

Whatever the decision, it's best to wait until after Mercury goes direct (and ideally until April 9) to be sure you haven't missed anything, as well as to ensure it sticks.
Getting Personal

Releasing with the Libra Full Moon

You can release anything under any full moon, but since this one is saturated in Libra energy, it's especially helpful for releasing:

Negative beliefs or attitudes connected to marriage, partnerships close friends and other committed relationships, as well as for releasing relationships that no longer fulfill you.

Traits and tendencies to be a people pleaser, co-dependent, shallow, vain, over-accommodating, self-indulgent, pretentious or unable to make a decision for fear of making the wrong one.

TRANSITING VENUS IN PISCES
March 26 - April 20

Although the airy side of Venus reveled in her independence and enjoyed the new experiences she encountered while in Aquarius, her earthy side eventually found it’s detached, impersonal nature too cool for comfort.

Longing to be cradled in a sea of emotional warmth, she bid the Water Bearer farewell and dove headlong into the waters of the sentimental, soothing sign of her exaltation: Pisces. A planet is exalted when it occupies a sign that so complementary to its nature that its virtues are magnified and it expresses the highest nature of the planet and the sign. Consequently, while Venus is here, her senses are heightened, her sensitivity is increased and her compassion expands. >> Read More.
TRANSITING MARS IN GEMINI
March 31 - May 15, 2019

While Mars is in Gemini, he can be more talk than action, but that talk can be fast and furious. You see, Mars energizes whatever he touches and while he's in the sign of the Twins, his mind is in overdrive and his vocal chords work overtime. He thinks quickly on his feet, strategizes more effectively and easily holds his own in spirited debates.

He's also less focused and can be argumentative to the point of belligerence.

As Mars flexes his intellectual muscles, most of us will feel an urge to exercise ours as well. We're also likely to seek social opportunities, engage in stimulating conversations and come up with new ideas. We can also find ourselves involved in a war of words.

While in Gemini, Mars makes it easier for us to express ourselves, but the manner in which we do so is entirely up to us. That's why it's important during this time to think before we speak, and when we do, know when it's time to shut up.
CLOSING THOUGHTS

As the Sun leaves Pisces and moves into Aries, may the spirit of the Ram recharge your batteries, ignite your passion and inspire you to new heights.

Until next time,

May Jupiter's blessings be your constant companion,
