Dear Stargazers,

As many of you know, I recently did a Facebook Live event where I discussed some of the astrology connected to Covid-19. I just released a podcast on this topic, and if you were at the Live event, this podcast contains additional insights. It may take a little while before it shows up in some of the directories (e.g., iTunes. However, it's available for stream now from my website as well as on YouTube

And now it's time to take a peek at the upcoming full moon and what it has in store for us.

The energies on these days aren't favorable for new ventures or any activity where you want or need a definite result. If you must schedule something, you may have to think on your feet, or there may be a need for patience or flexibility.

FULL MOON at 18°44' LIBRA
APRIL 7, 2020 | 10:35 PM
Washington, DC

Given the state of affairs, it makes sense to interpret this full moon in light of the current circumstances.

This month's full moon ends a clear message that we need to find a balance between impulsive and/or self-centered actions (Aries Sun) and rational analysis/considerate behaviors (Libra Moon).

The quincunx (adjustment, discomfort, illness) from the full moon to Neptune (fear, places of confinement, depression) describes the current situation. The square from the moon to Pluto and Jupiter in the second house of money speaks to the public's fear in terms of money and unemployment. With Mercury (communications) sextiling the Jupiter/Pluto conjunction, we can expect the media to report soaring numbers (deaths and unemployment) that will instill fear and a sense of hopelessness in many people.

Meanwhile, the tight square (provocative action) from Mars (impulse, selfishness) in the 3rd house (communications) to Uranus (panic) in Taurus (tangible items) suggests the news will trigger more panic buying.

On a positive note, although mortality rates at the time may be accurate, given that Jupiter rules exaggeration the projections (widespread death) reported based on these figures will turn out to be overblown.

Releasing with the Libra Full Moon

You can release anything under any full moon, but since this one is saturated in Libra energy, it's especially helpful for releasing:

Negative beliefs or attitudes connected to marriage, partnerships close friends and other committed relationships, as well as for releasing relationships that no longer fulfill you.

Traits and tendencies to be a people pleaser, co-dependent, shallow, vain, over-accommodating, self-indulgent, pretentious or unable to make a decision for fear of making the wrong one.

TRANSITING MERCURY IN ARIES
April 11 - 27, 2020

While Mercury is in Aries, he’s able to learn new subjects at lightning speed and finds it easy to think on his feet. However, he also tends to lose patience with anyone who fails to keep pace with him.

He’s also quick to anger and quick to answer, which means absent a few deep breaths, his tongue can sling barbs that inflict more than a little damage upon his target.

Consequently, while Mercury is in Aries we may find it easier to process new concepts and be motivated to study. However, our patience with others is likely to wear thin more easily, and since we’re more likely to jump to conclusions, words are apt to fly out of our mouth that we’ll quickly regret.

As the first sign of the zodiac and the natural ruler of the first house, Aries’ focus is often on “me, myself and I,” and during this time, Mercury can be very self-centered. In turn, our thoughts may be so focused on ourselves that we completely forget to consider others.

However, Aries is also an extremely noble sign that seeks to defend and protect others, and when its higher side is expressed, Mercury can be a knight in shining armor.

And so can we.
