Subject: Blue Moon ✨Venus Goes Direct ✨ Weekly Astrology Forecast & More! 💫

Dear Stargazers,

When Uranus stations retrograde on August 28, there will be 6 planets moving backwards until Venus breaks with the pack on September 3, only to be replaced by Jupiter when it stations retrograde on September 4.

That means that except for September 4, action-oriented Mars will be the only planet moving forward (the Sun and Moon are luminaries and are never retrograde) until Mercury stations direct on September 15, and it will be doing so at a disadvantage because it is in Libra (its detriment).

That's why the overall energy will be more sluggish during this time, as well as why some of you may feel as though life is standing still or experience a bout of lethargy.

Since we tend to feel the influence of the personal planets more strongly than the bridge (Jupiter, Saturn) or outer planets (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto), Venus moving direct is a good start, but unless you're on the receiving end of some positive energy to your personal horoscope, you probably won't feel a noticeable difference until after Mercury goes direct on September 15. That said, Venus going direct is still very good news, especially if you've been waiting to make a big (but not necessary) ticket purchase or want to try a new hairstylist.

Of course, that's not the only cosmic news this week, because in between Uranus stationing retrograde and Venus stationing direct is a Blue Moon in Pisces that's heavily influenced by Saturn.

Finally, with no major planetary aspects this week, the transiting Moon has more influence than usual, and while she never goes on the warpath, she is a bit moody.

There's guidance for all of these influences below, as well as details about scheduling an appointment with me before I open my calendar up to the general public, so let's get to it!

ASTROLOGY FORECAST
August 28 - September 3, 2023
All dates and times are given in EDT.

Monday, August 28. A void moon from 7:49 AM - 10:32 AM suggests that it's best to start the day with routine activities that don't require concrete results. However, once the transiting Moon enters Aquarius (10:32 AM), you have a green light and can turn your attention to more important matters. However, you still need to take extra care when it comes to matters connected to contracts, travel, negotiations, communications becauue Mercury is retrograde. While the overall energy of the day is productive, there could be an unexpected shakeup from Uranus as it prepares to station retrograde this evening.

Uranus stations retrograde at 7:56 PM. More on this below.

Tuesday, August 29. Adaptability is important today, because a series of tense aspects from the transiting Aquarius Moon to Venus, Jupiter and Uranus are likely to keep you on your toes. As long as you take things in stride and don't take anything personally, this can still be a very productive day.

Wednesday, August 30. Blue Moon in Pisces. Details below.

Thursday, August 31. Depending upon how you experienced yesterday's Blue Moon, some of you could be feeling a bit melancholy this morning. If so, you're likely to find a sympathetic ear before the day is over who will help lift your spirits, as well as offer some sage advice. If the Blue Moon treated you well, you could be the compassionate listener who doles out some helpful words of wisdom.

Friday, September 1. If you haven't been getting much done this week (and even if you have), you can count on the transiting Moon's ingress into Aries (9:26 AM) to fuel your ambition and inspire you to action. This is an excellent day to begin new projects, check things off your to-do listen and end the work week with a strong finish. Given the enthusiastic nature of this influence, you could be looking forward to a BBQ or other ways to enjoy the Labor Day weekend (USA).

Saturday, September 2. Yesterday's high-spirited energy continues to flow today, making it a good one to hit the open road, play sports, work out, gather with friends, paint the town (or the walls) or anything else for that matter that gets your blood pumping or gives you an exciting adrenaline rush. If you're experiencing any lingering stress from the past week, this is a great day to burn off.

Sunday, September 3. The Moon goes void 7:58 AM, which means it's best to kick back, meditate or focus on routine matters until the transiting Moon shifts into Taurus at 11:01 AM. In contrast to yesterday's high-octane energy, a calmer influence prevails today and the overall pace is more deliberate. With Venus preparing to go direct this evening, you may find that your attention is focused on self-care, pleasurable pursuits or spending time with those who mean the most to you.

Venus stations direct at 9:10 PM EDT. More on this below.

URANUS RETROGRADE
August 28, 2023 -  January 27, 2024

On August 28, Uranus will station retrograde at 23°05' Taurus, and for the next 5 months it will retrace its steps until it stations direct on January 27 at 19°05' Taurus.

Like all retrogrades, this one's energy is best used introspectively. Given that this one involves Uranus (awakening, instability, self-determination) in Taurus (money, personal values), a good use of this cycle would be to reexamine how you're faring in today's economy, as well as your ability to live a value-driven life.

Depending upon what else is going on in your personal horoscope, this cycle could coincide with a financial or moral shakeup. However, for most of you this cycle is likely to make you aware of something that needs to change in your life, and that something could be as simple as a viewpoint or attitude towards something (or someone).

So what does this mean for you?

BLUE MOON AT 7°25' PISCES
August 30, 2023 - 9:36 PM EDT

This month's Pisces full moon is a blue moon, because it is the second full moon to take place in a single calendar month. Like every full moon, this one can be expected to bring something to light, to fruition or to a conclusion.

Ruled by Neptune, the planet of magic and manifestation, it's no surprise that of the 12 signs, Pisces is the one that doesn't just believe in miracles, but holds them to be self-evident.

That's why every Pisces full moon is infused with a dream-come-true energy powerful enough to justify the Fish's unshakeable faith in outcomes that defy the most discouraging facts.

Whether or not you experience some magic from this month's full moon will depend largely upon its conjunction to Saturn, which will have a strong influence on its expression.

In short, this can go one of two ways. On the one hand, Saturn's limiting, pessimistic influence could burst this Blue Moon's bubble, while on the other, its ambitious, structured energy could bring it to life.

Since Saturn's rule is that we reap what we sow, happy endings are more likely to come to those who have earned it. Still, with Mars (action) making a quincunx to the blue Moon, there's a good chance that some type of adjustment will be necessary. With

Mercury retrograde during this Blue Moon, the adjustment could be connected to some type of delay.

If this Blue Moon doesn't bring about your heart's desire, rather than succumb to Saturn's discouraging influence, work with its determined, persevering and pragmatic nature and rebuild your dream on solid footing.

Getting Personal

Releasing with the Pisces Full Moon

You can release anything under any full moon, but when it's saturated in Pisces energy, it's especially helpful for releasing:

Negative beliefs, fears or circumstances related to spirituality, past lives, karma, spending time alone, hospitals, guilt, grief, isolation, oceans/bodies of water, mysticism.

Traits or tendencies to feel needy, gullible, helpless, dishonest, reclusive, addicted, self-sabotaging, impractical, secretive or manipulative.

VENUS STATIONS DIRECT
September 3, 2023 • 9:10 PM EDT

After pedaling backwards through the sign of the Leo since July 22, Venus will station direct at 12°12' Leo on September 3.

During her retrograde journey, Venus experienced a rebirth as she shifted from an evening star to a morning star. If you heeded her call, reexamined your values and made some (perhaps tough) choices, you too can expect to experience a rebirth as you emerge from this cycle with a crystal clear vision of who and what means the most to you, along with the courage and passion to pursue them.

That wraps it up for this week. I'll be back next Sunday with more guidance, including how to make the most of Jupiter's upcoming retrograde cycle.

Until next time,

May Jupiter's blessings be your constant companion,
