Dear Friends,

It's been 14+ months since my last newsletter. I had expected to come back to it in a few months, but as time went on I found that I needed to step back and focus my attention on the major changes occurring in my life since my mom passed.

My mom's birthday is April 29th, and besides going to Red Lobster that day (her favorite restaurant), I thought it fitting to celebrate her birthday month by writing a new blog and reinstating the newsletter. Then I thought it would be even better if I gave away a free gift, and as I sat down to write this newsletter, I decided to share a little bit about my very remarkable mom.

She Was Star Stuff and She Knew it

Born under Taurus with a Virgo moon and Scorpio rising, she was the rock that everyone clung to during tough times. She was my #1 supporter, and most important, she filled the role of the second parent to my daughter from the time she was 2 1/2 years old. If it wasn't for her assuming that role, I would never have been able to attend college, let alone law school. We didn't always get agree, and our relationship wasn't perfect, but we always loved and respected each other. Even better, we actually liked each other and enjoyed each others company. I may not have been lucky with love, but I am certainly lucky with my family.

From as far back as I can remember, my mom was interested in ancient civilizations, aliens, psychic phenomena and all things metaphysical. She described herself as unique and those who knew her agreed, and throughout her entire life she always felt out of sync here on earth. She was star stuff, and she knew it.

Despite having had a hard life in so many ways, my mom was an optimist who felt she was the luckiest person on earth because she was blessed with wonderful children; and while it may seem immodest on my part, her exact Venus-Jupiter conjunction in Aries in her house of children says she did. With Saturn in her second house, she finances were an issue for her, but no matter how little she may have had, she always shared. Even if it was the smallest amount, she would donate to human societies, veteran's organizations and children's charities

She was a giver; she was a caretaker; and she always made time for us. But most of all, she was generous with her love. That was her legacy to us.

My mom went into the hospital several days before a Full Moon, and because of that I knew that after it peaked, she would either be coming home with me or going home in spirit. Once she decided it was her time to leave this earthly plane, her Taurus patience seemed to evaporate. She was used to making things happen, and it just wasn't happening fast enough for her. I still laugh when I recall her waking up after a nap, looking  at us and saying in a somewhat exasperated tone, "Christ! I'm still here?"

Later that day, I sat on her bed, took her hand and said, "Mom, there's a full moon today, and I promise it's going to take you. And you know I do know something about this stuff."

Resting easily, with her eyes closed, she said, "You're the best at what you do."

Those were the last words my mother ever spoke to me. It doesn't get better than that.

Gratitude

I was blessed to have my mother by my side for 57 years; I was especially blessed to have celebrated one last birthday with her just a few weeks before she passed; and I'm blessed that she's still with me in spirit.

I'm also blessed by every one of you. I appreciate your continued support while I was on hiatus, and I look forward to bringing you astrological insights, tips and tools. As of now, I'm not committed to a regular schedule, so you'll be receiving newsletters when I have important astrological news to share. And on that note...

Mars Retrograde

On April 17, the planet Mars stationed retrograde in Sagittarius, and it will continue in reverse motion until it stations direct in Scorpio on June 29. What can you expect during this cycle? It's all in my new blog!  Just click here to read it, and please click the social media buttons at the bottom of the post to share it with your friends.

In the body of the blog, you'll see that I'm offering a free gift to new subscribers, and since (unlike Verizon) I appreciate my current subscribers, I've giving it to you as well.

Your Free Gift

Attached to this newsletter is a PDF entitled Mars: Your Motivational Force that offers a little insight into Mars by sign and house. If you have any problems downloading it, just contact me, and I'll see that you get a copy. (Hint: It should be located in in the corner at the bottom of this email.)  If you don't know the sign or house placement of your Mars, there's a link to a page where you can find that out.

Website Makeover

While I was on hiatus, my gifted and very patient web designer updated my website. If you haven't seen it yet, click here to check it out. I've also expanded the options for the Targeted Guidance sessions. If there's a type of reading or service you'd like but isn't on the menu, by all means suggest it.

Finally...

I have a few special projects in the works, and I look forward to bringing them to you in the coming months. Again, thank you for your support, and until next time...

May Jupiter's blessings be your constant companion,

Debra Anne Clement
