Dear Stargazers,

If you missed the September 22 premiere of the He Says She Says Astrology podcast, c
lick HERE to listen via Itunes (there'll be more listening options soon).

New shows will be released every Saturday, and if you enjoy it, please show us some love and give it a 5-star rating.

If you haven't yet listened to the latest episode of Shortcut to the Soul (Astrology Potpourri), I offer my opinion about cusp birthdays, reveal what I believe to be the most telling placements in the horoscope, share an interpretive technique and describe Mars by sign.

In the coming weeks, there'll be episodes featuring guest interviews, Venus retrograde and aspects (just to mention a few!)

Speaking of the future, this week's astrology includes an uptight Aries full moon and Pluto's station. While the full moon influences everyone and often coincides with an external event, Pluto's station is likely to be far more subtle in that it serves as a starting point for actions that we need to take.

However, if you have planets or sensitive points at certain degrees of Taurus, Virgo, Aries, Libra, Cancer or Capricorn, Pluto's forward motion will be significant.

There's more below on the Full Moon and Pluto, as well as a special offer that will not be repeated.
PLANETARY FORECAST
September 23 - 30

All dates are given according to the Eastern Time zone.

Time permitting, insights into planetary events and aspects will be posted on Facebook (and should automatically post to Twitter) the day before the event/aspect.

PLANETARY EVENTS

Sep. 24:  Full Moon in Aries
Sep. 30:  Pluto stations direct

BEST DAYS

While there are other days during this time frame that are fine, these are the best of the bunch. What do I mean by the best? The energy is flowing, the moon isn't void and there's a greater likelihood for happy and/or productive outcomes.

Sep., 27, 29

BEST AVOIDED

The energies on these days aren't favorable for new ventures or any activity where you want or need a definite result. If you must schedule something, you may have to think on your feet, or there may be a need for patience or flexibility.

Sep. 26
Sep. 30  (void moon all day)

NOTABLE ASPECTS

Sep. 25: Sun square Saturn
Sep. 27: Sun trine Mars

FULL MOON at 2°00 ARIES
September 24, 2018 | 10:52 PM
Washington, DC

Full moons tend to heighten emotions, and this one might just push your buttons and trigger deep-seated feelings of anger and resentment that could be rooted in past events as far back as childhood, especially if you have planets or sensitive points at or near 2° Aries, Libra, Cancer or Capricorn.

The T-square in this chart consists of of the moon (emotions, the past) in Aries (I am, anger) conjunct Chiron (wound, healing) in the 11th house (hopes/dreams, love received) opposing the Sun (ego, personality) / Mercury (communications) conjunction in the 5th house (self-expression), all of which are squared (provoked) by Saturn (restriction, authority).

Interpreting it as a whole, I feel this full moon could bring to light a deep wound from the past, perhaps even childhood, connected to an authority figure (parent, teacher, boss) who held someone back from their dreams as they withheld love, praise or even encouragement.

Adding fuel to the already inflammatory nature of this chart is a square between Mars (anger) and Uranus (instability) which increases the odds of an emotional outburst.

Is there any good news? Yes, the combination of a trine from Mars (which rules this moon) to the Sun/Mercury conjunction, as well as the sextile it makes to the Moon/Chiron conjunction, suggests that that once the issue/wound comes to light and the feelings are expressed, healing can begin.

On a different note, some of you may experience feelings of anger or resentment (or be on the receiving end of them from someone else) in connection to a trust issue involving intimacy and/or money connected to a one-to-one (not necessarily romantic) relationship. If so, the potential for healing is also there once the matter sees the light of day and you've expressed your feelings.
Getting Personal

A full moon occurs when the Sun and Moon form an aspect known as an opposition. The house that holds the Moon is where the action is in your chart, and something related to one (or more) of the life areas ruled by it may come to light, to fruition or to an end. Since a full moon falls across two houses, it's important to consider the life areas of the house that holds the sun as well.

If you don't know which house holds 2°00 Aries in your horoscope, you can refer to the list below to find out where the full moon falls in your solar (sun-sign based) chart).

If your Sun Sign is:

Aries, it falls in your 1st house (your physical body, attitude towards life). Read the 7th house as well.
Taurus, it falls in your 12th house (spirituality, creativity, mental health, addictions). Read the 6th house as well.
Gemini, it falls in your 11th house (groups, associations, hopes, casual friends, colleagues). Read the 5th house as well.
Cancer, it falls in your 10th house (career, fame, status, reputation). Read the 4th house as well.
Leo, it falls in your 9th house (education, law, religion, foreign and long-distance travel, publishing). Read the 3rd house as well.
Virgo, it falls in your 8th house (intimacy, shared resources, other people's support, birth, death, estate matters). Read the 2nd house as well.
Libra, it falls in your 7th house (marriage and all one-to-one relationships including best friends, adversaries, business partners and clients). Read the 1st house as well.
Scorpio, it falls in your 6th house (health, work, pets, diet, nutrition). Read the 12t house as well.
Sagittarius, it falls in your 5th house (romance, children, creative self-expression, entertainment). Read the 11th house as well.
Capricorn, it falls in your 4th house (home, family, real estate, parents). Read the 10th house as well.
Aquarius, it falls in your solar 3rd house (siblings, neighbors, short trips, cars, contracts, negotiations.). Read the 9th house as well.
Pisces, it falls in your 2nd house (income, spending, personal values, self-esteem, tangible assets). Read the 8th house as well.
Releasing with the Aries Full Moon

Once the full moon peaks and the matter is concluded, it's over and the next step is to release any attachment to it. That's why, the period of time between the full moon and the next new moon (the time while the moon is waning or disappearing from sight) is energetically ripe for releasing things from our life.

You can release anything under any full moon, but since this one is saturated in Aries energy, it's especially helpful for releasing:

Negative beliefs, fears or circumstances related to your body, your ambition or your leadership ability.

Traits or tendencies to be impatient, impulsive, reckless, egotistical, hotheaded or a bully.

PLUTO STATIONS DIRECT
September 30, 2018 | 10:01 PM EDT

During the past 5 months while Pluto was retrograde, its transformative energy was best used introspectively. In other words, by turning our scrutiny inward and determining who and/or what we need to purge from our lives and where it may be time to make some irrevocable changes.

Once Pluto station direct at 18°45' Capricorn, its time to put that analysis to good use by releasing who and/or what no longer serves us and let the chips fall where they may.

On a much more personal note, if you have any planets or sensitive points at 18°- 22° of Taurus, Virgo, Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn, you're experiencing a Pluto transit.

If the planet or point is in Taurus or Virgo, this transit offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reinvent some area of your life in a major way. If the planet receiving the transit in your chart happens to be at 18° or 19°, this year marks the end of this transformative cycle for you. However, if you have a planet at 20°-22°, then you're just getting started.

On the flip side, if the planet or point is in one of the cardinal signs - Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn - this transit is also a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to transform some area of your life. However, since the nature of this cycle is to destroy and then rebuild, it's likely to feel as though ready or not, a major change is being forced upon you.

If your planet happens to be at 18° or 19°, the good news is that this transit is coming to an end, and you'll soon begin to experience a rebirth. Although hard Pluto transits can be brutal, it replaces whatever it takes with something better.

However, if you have a planet at 20°-22°, you're at the beginning of your road to transformative and along the way something may be taken away from you. If you choose to fight it, your only success will be in delaying the inevitable because in this contest, Pluto always wins.

The only question is how long it will take you to cry uncle, because resistance is futile. If that sounds dire, it's only because that's often the reality, and in this case, the upcoming eclipses in Cancer and Capricorn increase the odds that change is on the way for those born under the cardinal signs.

Does that mean you're destined to experience this transit as a crisis? Not at all. Much depends on what's happening in the rest of your chart, and it may just be that this hard energy ignites your rocket to success and you'll find yourself sitting on Oprah's couch and sharing your rags-to-riches story with the world.

If not, take heart that even though when all is said and done no one ever says, "Gee, I'm so glad I went through that experience," they do say, "I never could have imagined how much better off I am!"
