PLANETARY FORECAST
June 1 - 7

All dates and times are given in Eastern Standard Time.

PLANETARY EVENTS

June 05:  Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius

BEST DAYS

While there are other days during this time frame that are fine, these are the best of the bunch. What do I mean by the best? The energy is flowing, the moon isn't void and there's a greater likelihood for happy and/or productive outcomes.

June 1

BEST AVOIDED

The energies on these days aren't favorable for new ventures or any activity where you want or need a definite result. If you must schedule something, you may have to think on your feet, or there may be a need for patience or flexibility.

June 5, 6

NOTABLE ASPECTS

June 02:  Venus square Mars
June 03:  Venus conjunct Sun
June 05:  Mercury sextile Uranus
June 06:  Sun square Mars

"I'm mad as hell, and
I'm not going to take this anymore!"
There's no getting around it. This month's lunar eclipse in Sagittarius is an emotional one, a passionate one and an angry one.

Like a full moon (only much more powerful), a lunar eclipse usually brings something to a conclusion. Sometimes it's a natural outcome, sometimes it's a forced decision, and sometimes it's a blindside.

This month's lunar eclipse is in Sagittarius, the zodiac's ruler of truth and that includes personal truth. An adventurous sign that values its freedom, the Archer aspires to success, roots for the underdog and has no use for anyone who discourages her dreams or wants to keep her on a short leash.

While heightened emotions are common around the time of a lunar eclipse, since this one is squaring Mars (anger) in Pisces (victims) we can expect to be easily triggered if we feel we've been used, put down, passed over or held back in any way by someone else.

Why someone else? Because the moon is opposing Venus (relationships) retrograde (reflection).

If you're involved in an argument, you can expect egos to be strong, emotions to run high and enough angry words that someone will probably end up in tears. However, because the moon squares Neptune, our (or their) perception may not be accurate. If that's the case, expect the truth to emerge in the days to come along with apologies and forgiveness.

Is there anything good about this eclipse?

Yes. Any arguments, rants or tirades (even if they're just in your own head) will make clear what you're no longer going to tolerate, plus there's a Mercury-Uranus sextile that promotes creative thinking which can in turn help you remedy previously unresolved issues.

So what is it that you're not going to take anymore? That's something everyone should be thinking about no matter which zodiac sign calls you its own.

Getting Personal

The house that holds the Moon is where the focus is in your chart, and something related to one (or more) of the life areas ruled by it is likely to come to a boil, a decision, an ending or fruition, especially if you have a planet or sensitive point at or near 15° Sagittarius, Gemini, Pisces or Virgo. may come to light, to fruition, to an end . Since a lunar eclipse falls across two houses, it's important to consider the life areas of the house that holds the sun as well.

If you don't know which house holds 15° Sagittarius in your natal horoscope, you can refer to the list below to find out where the lunar eclipse falls in your solar (sun-sign based) chart).

THE MUNDANE PERSPECTIVE

As I've said many times before, it's not uncommon for eclipse-related events to show up early, and it seems that's the case here in the USA as we witnessed protests and riots in response to the death of George Floyd are occurring in numerous cities across the nation.

Sagittarius is a passionate, impatient and visionary sign that in its higher form represents truth, justice and tolerance.

Like any full moon, a lunar eclipse is an opposition between the moon and the sun. In mundane astrology, the moon represents the public, and the sun represents the ruling government authority. As it happens, both of them are squaring Mars (action, anger, violence, arson) which creates a tense pattern known as a T-Square. In mundane astrology, Mars represents the police.

Breaking down the T-square, we've seen members of the public (the Sagittarius moon) demanding truth, justice and equality,  and we've seen government officials asking for cool heads and patience until all investigations are complete (Gemini sun). With Mars as the focal point of the T-square, the attention is on the police, and with the moon (the public) squaring mars (anger), many protests have turned violent.

In addition to squaring Mars, the eclipse is also squaring Neptune, which rules rules fraud, scandal, prisoners and confinement, video, victims, actors, lies and secret societies.

Although Mars (police, violence) is in the spotlight, Neptune's influence is significant:

(a) Police were called because George Floyd had allegedly passed a fraudulent $20 bill;
(b) George Floyd was handcuffed and pinned to the ground (confinement)
(c) Video evidence was recorded on a phone and a surveillance camera
(d) George Floyd is a victim
(e) The event triggered legal and moral outrage (scandal)
(f)  On social media, images are being posted alleging George Floyd, Derek Chauven et al are crisis actors, and the entire event is a lie that was orchestrated by a covert group with its own secret agenda.*

*This is being stated as a fact to show the influence of Neptune, not as my belief or to promote such theories.

So if this is where we are now, what can we expect as we get closer to the actual eclipse date?

If we're lucky, this is the only storm, it came early, and we'll be dealing with the aftermath.
If not, then there's more to come, which could be connected to George Floyd or something different. It's not uncommon for a lunar eclipse to coincide with more than one event.

If so, it could be related to Covid-19, because the moon represents the public, the sun represents the government, Mars (along with Pluto) rules infectious diseases and Neptune rules scandal and deception.

Either way, as Mars continues to moves towards a conjunction with Neptune (June 13), we can expect to hear more allegations of abuse of power (Mars) as well as fraud, conspiracies and coverups (Neptune).
Releasing with the Sagittarius Lunar Eclipse

You can release anything under any full moon, but since this an eclipse it's energy is more potent than usual. Saturated in Sagittarius energy, it's especially helpful for releasing:

Negative beliefs or fears connected to success, justice, religion, abundance, travel, philanthropy and foreign people or places.

Traits or tendencies related to arrogance, hypocrisy, rudeness, wastefulness, overindulgence, fanaticism, bigotry, laziness and dishonesty.

Closing Thoughts

Until next week,

May Jupiter's blessings be your constant companion,
