Dear Stargazers,

Tomorrow is the transit of Mercury, and for those of you who aren't familiar with this term, it's when Mercury passes directly in front of the sun and can be seen (via telescopes with solar filters) as a black dot moving across the face of the Sun.

The last transit of Mercury was in 2016, and after tomorrow's transit, there won't be another one until 2032.

Although it's not visible from everywhere, it will be visible from South America, far-western Africa and eastern North America. Here in the New York, it will begin at 7:36 AM EST and the entire transit will take about 5.5 hours.

Fortunately, those of us who lack telescopes with solar filters can expect to see plenty of photos posted on the web!

The Calm Before the (Energetic) Storm

Although this Mercury retrograde cycle has been quite disruptive for many of you, we're actually experiencing the calm before the energetic storm.

On December 2, Jupiter enters Capricorn. A few weeks later on December 26, it will conjunct the Capricorn solar eclipse. Then on January 10, Uranus will station direct as the Cancer lunar eclipse opposes the Saturn/Pluto conjunction (which will be exact on January 12).

As I've said before, how these powerful energies play out depends on your specific horoscope, as well as what you've been doing (or not) up until now.

For some, this period of time will be remembered as one of the high points of your life while others will remember it as a time of setbacks or crisis.

Most of you won't experience it as either extreme. However, for those of you who do keep in mind that whether you're celebrating or lamenting, it's all about working with the energy and, most important, you're always in control of your reactions and decisions.

You can count on me to offer guidance on handling these energies during the coming weeks via podcast and newsletter, but if you need or want specific guidance about these events, you need to book your session now because my calendar is almost completely full.

FULL MOON at 19°52' TAURUS
November 12, 2019 | 8:34 AM
Washington, DC

This month's full moon promises a happy (but potentially delayed) ending. The potential delay comes from mercury retrograde's opposition to the moon, but the good news is that any such delay should be brief in nature.

The promise of a happy ending is shown primarily by the moon's trine to pluto, which suggests an emotionally satisfying outcome that could possibly even exceed our expectations. At the same time, the sun's sextile to pluto indicates that whatever occurs at this time includes an opportunity to make creative changes in one's life.

Generally speaking, since Taurus is a fruitful sign that presides over finances, tangible (movable) resources and our personal values, on some level we can expect this full moon to shed some type of productive light on one or more of these areas.

However, where we're likely to experience this full moon on a personal level is revealed by the life areas ruled by the house in our horoscope that's receiving the full moon.
Getting Personal

If you don't know which house holds 19°52' Taurus in your horoscope, you can refer to the list below to find out which house the full moon falls in your solar chart. Since a full moon involves the sun and the moon, be sure to consider the life areas ruled by the opposite house as well.

If your Sun sign is:

Aries, it falls in your 2nd house (income, spending, personal values, self-esteem, tangible assets). Read the 8th house as well.
Taurus, it falls in your 1st house (your physical body, attitude towards life). Read the 7th house as well.
Gemini, it falls in your 12th house (spirituality, creativity, mental health, addictions). Read the 6th house as well.
Cancer, it falls in your 11th house (groups, associations, hopes, casual friends, colleagues). Read the 5th house as well.
Leo, it falls in your 10th house (career, fame, status, reputation). Read the 4th house as well.
Virgo, it falls in your 9th house (education, law, religion, foreign and long-distance travel, publishing). Read the 3rd house as well.
Libra, it falls in your 8th house (intimacy, shared resources, other people's support, birth, death, estate matters). Read the 2nd house as well.
Scorpio, it falls in your 7th house (marriage and all one-to-one relationships including best friends, adversaries, business partners and clients). Read the 1st house as well.
Sagittarius, it falls in your 6th house (health, work, pets, diet, nutrition). Read the 12th house as well.
Capricorn, it falls in your 5th house (romance, children, creative self-expression, entertainment). Read the 11th house as well.
Aquarius, it falls in your 4th house (home, family, real estate, parents). Read the 10th house as well.
Pisces, it falls in your solar 3rd house (siblings, neighbors, short trips, cars, contracts, negotiations.). Read the 9th house as well.

Releasing with the Taurus Full Moon

You can release anything under any full moon, but since this one is saturated in Taurus energy, it's especially helpful for releasing:

Negative beliefs connected to money (including the ability to earn, save and manage it well), personal values, productivity and feelings of self-worth.

Traits such as greed, rigidity, laziness, overindulgence, possessiveness, stubbornness and jealousy.

TRANSITING MARS IN SCORPIO
November 19, 2019 - January

After several weeks of living with Libra’s indecisiveness, harmony and diplomacy, Mars had more than his fill of cooperation, consideration and compromise.

It was time for him to take charge, flex his muscles and compete for the prize.

Most of all, it was time for him to be decisive. And so without even the slightest hesitation, Mars decided to move out of Libra and into Scorpio, a sign where he felt very much at home.

As Mars crossed into Scorpio, he felt very much like a king returning to his castle, which is only fitting since he ruled the Underworld until Pluto reclaimed his throne.

Still, Mars did such an outstanding job keeping Pluto’s seat warm that to this day he continues to be Scorpio’s co-ruler, which is why whenever he visits it feels like homecoming.

While Mars is in Scorpio, he can be a sinner or a saint.

At his worst, Mars in Scorpio is secretive and uses manipulation rather than his customary confrontation to achieve his objective, and if things get intense, he can be ruthless, obsessive, controlling and vindictive.

At his best, Mars in Scorpio is independent, focused, courageous, ambitious and passionate. He will fearlessly risk his life to save another. Like Pluto, Mars is at ease with mortality. The centuries he spent guarding the Underworld endowed him with an innate understanding of birth, death and transformation, and he knows that life does not end with death; rather, it simply begins anew in an altered form.
CLOSING THOUGHTS

Here in the USA, Veteran's Day is a time to honor those who have served in our military and reflect on their service and sacrifice. I hope you have a wonderful Veteran's Day, and if you or your friends and/or family are veterans, please know I'll be thinking of all of you with gratitude and appreciation

Until next time,

May Jupiter's blessings be your constant companion,

Debra Anne Clement
