Subject: A Fabulous New Moon • Weekly Forecast & More

Dear Stargazers,

This week brings one of the best new moons of the year, as well as a Sun-Jupiter conjunction that could bring a lucky break and a Venus-Mars conjunction that can stimulate your love life. It's all below, so start scrolling!

WEEKLY FORECAST: FEBRUARY 27 - MARCH 6
All dates are given in the Eastern Time Zone

Planetary Activity

Mar. 02: New Moon in Pisces

Mar. 06: Transiting Mars enters Aquarius

Mar. 06: Transiting Venus enters Aquarius

Notable Aspects

Wednesday, March 2: Sun sextile Uranus • Mercury conjunct Saturn

You're likely to find it much easier to express yourself today, thanks to a supportive aspect between the Sun (self-expression) and Uranus (originality). If you're artistically inclined, expect your creative juices to flow.

However, while ideas may come easily, the serious nature of today's Mercury-Saturn conjunction can be a wet blank if you allow its pessimistic, fault-finding side to influence your thoughts. The key to working with this transit is to maintain a positive attitude and tap into the focused, determined side of it. If you do, odds are high that your ideas will have form and structure by the end of the day.

Thursday, March 3: Mars conjunct Pluto • Venus conjunct Pluto

Although Venus and Mars aren't in an exact conjunction with each other until Sunday, at different times during the day each one takes a turn making a conjunction to Pluto.

As a result, you may experience some intense encounters with others today. Since egos and ambitions (Mars) are strong now, you're more likely to get into conflicts with others.

If a romantic relationship begins under this influence, it may have a compelling quality to it. However, while it may in fact turn out to be a loving, enduring and soulful union, it's best to move slowly because its intensity could promote jealousy and possessiveness. For those of you who are in a relationship, whether you're madly in love or on the outs with your partners, you're likely to feel an urgent need to express your feelings to them.

Given the powerful energies today, engaging in some type of physical activity can be very helpful because it will act as a release valve for any aggressive feelings you may be experiencing at the time.

Saturday, March 5: Sun conjunct Jupiter

Today's Sun-Jupiter conjunction is a confident, optimistic energy that can inspire you to go for the gold in some area of your life. Although this influence is fortunate for all forms of self-expression, it's especially favorable for matters related to media, publishing, education, law and travel.

Sunday, March 6: Venus conjunct Mars

Whenever Venus (love) and Mars (passion) embrace, romance sizzles. Single or partnered, this influence is known for triggering strong attractions and a desire for physical unions.

However, since this conjunction takes place in the decidedly distinctive sign of Aquarius, you may find yourself strongly attracted to someone who is very different from your usual type. Also, since Aquarius is an air sign, the physical spark is likely to be triggered by an intellectual one.

Although this influence is best satisfied by a romantic union, Venus rules money and physical possessions, so its conjunction to impulsive Mars could mean impulse spending on a guilty pleasure.

Daily Energy

Best Days: While there are other days during this time frame that are fine, these are the best of the bunch. What do I mean by the best? The energy is flowing, the moon isn't void and there's a greater likelihood for happy and/or productive outcomes.

Mar. 2, 3, 5

Best Avoided: The energies on these days aren't favorable for new ventures or any activity where you want or need a definite result. If you must schedule something, you may have to think on your feet, or there may be a need for patience or flexibility.

NEW MOON at 12°07' PISCES

March 2, 2022 • 12:36 PM EST

While every new moon is infused with energetic seeds for new beginnings, not all new moons are created equally. Sometimes the promise of a fresh start is hindered by challenging aspects from other planets or delayed by Mercury retrograde.

Luckily, this isn't one of those times.

In fact, this month's new moon is one of the best ones we'll see this year. Not only is it drenched with good fortune, but it comes with some serious manifesting power thanks to a conjunction with Jupiter, the planetary ruler of opportunity, abundance, growth, prosperity and success.

As the astrological ruler of magic, miracles and mysticism, Pisces is the zodiac's resident expert when it comes to manifesting, which is why every Pisces new moon has a distinct edge when it comes to setting intentions.

When you add Jupiter's fortunate influence to the mix, that edge turns into a full blown advantage.

And it's an advantage you won't want to waste.

In astrology, Jupiter is the planet of good luck, and in most cases that luck shows up as a golden opportunity. Given its positive relationship to Uranus in this new moon chart, it's quite possible than an unforeseen turn of events will put a smile on your face.

If you've been lax about setting new moon intentions in the past, I encourage you to be conscientious about setting them at this new moon.

And while you're at it, this is an excellent time to create or update a vision board.

TRANSITING MARS IN AQUARIUS
March 6 - April 14, 2022

When the planet of war is in the sign of humanitarians, free thinkers and good old fashioned protesters, he rallies to the cause and leads the charge.

Although he still has courage to spare, while in the intellectual sign of Aquarius Mars follows his head rather than his heart.

Principles are important, and he’ll only fight for what he believes is right.

Although he’s never been one to back down from a fight, the fixed nature of Aquarius adds fortitude to his personality. In short, he holds his ground until he wins, and if he doesn’t, he goes down fighting.

However, the influence of ruler Uranus means that Aquarius often thinks in extremes, and depending upon whether it’s expressing its higher or lower side, it can be a genius or a maniac. When you add in the enthusiastic and inflammatory sides of Mars, this planetary combination is capable of far-reaching achievements or extensive destruction.

On a personal level, this energy can help you get in touch with your own inner rebel. If you’ve been hesitant to take a chance or need to break free from relationships or circumstances that are holding you back, this energy might provide some much-needed inspiration.

TRANSITING VENUS IN AQUARIUS
March 6 - April 5, 2022

After weeks of power lunches, networking dinners and more than a few games of one-upmanship, Venus grew weary of Capricorn’s ambitious, status-conscious world of mostly work and little play. Tired of working weekends, Venus knew it was time to rebel and thumbing her nose at authority, crossed into Aquarius.

While Venus is in Aquarius, she values her independence, enjoys being self-sufficient and revels in her freedom.

Although her earthy side is uncomfortable in the sign of detachment, her airy side relates well to its aloofness. It’s also impressed by the its intellect, admires its humanitarian nature and respects its desire to be different.

As the planetary ruler of the horoscope’s second house, Venus presides over money and values. While many Venus signs are prudent and value a healthy savings account, Venus in Aquarius isn’t one of them.

It’s not that she’s against accumulating cash; it’s just that she’s not attached to money for money’s sake. In Aquarius, Venus values money for the experiences it can make possible, such as education and travel. She also values it for what it can accomplish, which is why she invests her money in humanitarian, social or political causes instead of the stock market.

As the natural ruler of the seventh house, Venus presides over love and committed relationships, and while in Aquarius, she learns to love authentically. Although she enjoys romance and physical intimacy, her relationships are rooted in friendship, companionship and intellectual compatibility.

Of all the Venus signs, this is the one who most enjoys her own company. That’s why she needs a confident partner, one with a strong sense of self who can entertain him or herself when she needs her space, and most of all, one who respects her as a true equal.
