FAVOURITESLast week we started a series looking at some of the amazing lollies at The Lolly Bug - Little Hartley.

Today we look at Lee Wiggins, from the Zig Zag Railway favourite, Spearmint Leaves. Sharon from The Lolly Bug said you'll either love them or hate them.

ABOUT Lee: In 2025 Lee was named Outstanding Employee/Volunteer of the Year. A stalwart of the Zig Zag family since 1997, Lee’s leadership as Rail Operations Manager, alongside his decades of dedication and mentorship, has been instrumental in delivering safe, seamless, and authentic experiences for thousands of guests.

ABOUT Spearmint Leaves: They are a classic old-fashioned lolly with a soft, jelly-like centre, a refreshing peppermint flavour and a delicate sugar coating. Their distinctive leaf shape and cool green colour make them a nostalgic favourite, perfect for anyone who loves traditional sweets with a fresh minty finish.

So, when you call into The Lolly Bug, make sure you add Spearmint Leaves to your selection. Lee gets his from the Lolly Bug van that's open at the Zig Zag Railway on weekends.

The Lolly Bug - Little Hartley is open Friday - Monday 9am - 5pm - Also weekends at the Zig Zag Railway. Here: w3w.co/readership.jaguars.sweeteners
