Celebrate America's 250th anniversary this July 4 at John Stiff Park with Amarillo Parks & Recreation and Outdoor Amarillo! This free, family-friendly event features live music, food trucks, a kids zone, beer garden, sand volleyball tournament, a spectacular 200-drone light show, and a fireworks finale after sunset. Parking lots open at 5 p.m. with free shuttle service from Amarillo High School, Randall High School, and the Amarillo Civic Center.

Celebrate America's 250th anniversary and the horse that helped shape the nation at the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum on Saturday, July 11!
This free family event features hands-on crafts, interactive activities, free activity books (while supplies last), mascot appearances, and the chance to meet a real American Quarter Horse. Guests can also be among the first to experience The Wagonhound Paddock, the museum's new outdoor space dedicated to connecting visitors with America's Horse.
Sip your way through Amarillo with the Boots and Brews Drink Trail, a year round celebration of Route 66! Sip, check in at participating locations, and complete the trail to earn a prize.
