Director Scott Engmann, prayer requests,

and volunteer opportunities!

Unprecedented. Upheaval. Uncertainty. Stress. Virtual. Flexible. Surprise!

These are some of the words and ideas we have become all too familiar with in 2021. As we enter 2022, do we simply expect more of the same buzzwords we are tired of hearing or do we expect some sense of normalcy?

Jesus in Matthew 11 reminds us when we are tired, burnt out, and overcome,

to draw close to Him, walk with Him, and He will show us the way forward.

For 31 years Habitat has been building and preserving affordable homeownership and that commitment stands firm. Though many of us are tired and overcome with the need, we recognize truly affordable homeownership opportunities are non-existent without our continued work.

So we hold tightly to our mission and recognize that even if

our plans are in pencil, our commitment is in ink.

With flexibility, affordability, and a deep love of our community in mind, I am excited to share that we are entering into our most ambitious development to date!

Purchased in 2021 on 3.5 acres, East Creek Village is nothing short

of a new benchmark in style and amenities that meet the housing needs of the community we serve.

As we move forward in this next year, I would like to thank the Habitat staff and Board of Directors for their unswerving commitment. I continue to welcome your prayers and encourage your involvement. Cheers to another year of building homes, community, and hope!
