Walls Rise as Restrictions Fade

On May 25th, future Habitat homeowners, staff, and core volunteers raised walls on 211 Midway. This is our 20th home built in partnership with Thrivent Financial, and out of respect for their dedication and comfort, we have kept the site closed to outside groups. However, Thrivent has issued new guidelines and as of July 1st the Faith Build site will officially be open to church engagement. We are currently seeking a volunteer group to join us on-site to help build a home for Marie! Available days are: Saturday, July 24th; Saturday, August 7th; and Saturday, August 28th!

Faith Build recipient

As we ramp up engagement on our 2021 Faith Build, it is finally time to wrap up our 2020 Faith Build. Out of respect for Thrivent Financials' current guidelines, rather than an in-person event, please join us for a drive through dedication. Stop at the top of Mall Dr. to grab some balloons and signs (or bring your own!) and give a honk and a wave to Habitat's newest homeowner!

We Need Your Input!

We have been conversing with representatives from the Heaven is for Real Ministry about a speaking engagement with the author Todd Burpo. We are looking for feedback on your congregation's interest in attending. We are also looking for churches willing to host the event and potentially be a partner in sponsoring the event.
