Hello Again Friend,

I come to you today with a bittersweet feeling. It is very sweet that your support for our outreach to Venezuela continues and you must know that you are having a tremendous impact on real people. You give them smiles and a reason for hope. People living in Venezuela have given up hope in many cases. Many leave the country on foot in hopes of making it to the United States, or they hit the ocean in makeshift boats to try and get to Trinidad. Those on foot realize that they likely will die on the way due to the elements and no resources to sustain them but the saying goes: "It's better to leave and die with hope than to stay and die in desperation." Imagine that!

Here are some of the smiles you are creating:

We also attend to countless abandoned and distressed animals. You wouldn't believe some of the horror stories you've helped turn into absolute miracles! Some of the photos I get are gruesome and I don't dare ruin your day by showing them. They truly feel your love!

You might remember Briana, the girl with the 18 lb tumor in her abdomen which was removed with your help. Her smile was always a ray of sunshine.

Sadly, her tumor came back and metastasized. God called his angel home and she passed away recently. But your help made it possible for her to be as comfortable and joyful as possible. Thank you so much!

This woman has a kidney problem and fluids are building up in her body. The hospitals have nothing to work with so they look to us to provide the medicines and supplies they need to treat people. You have no idea how crucial your support is. I have endless photos that Alexander sends me almost every day but we'll leave it with this.

I can't imagine being in Alexander's shoes. He gets so many desperate pleas for help and our resources are so limited we have to say 'No' to many more than we can say 'Yes' to. It's heartbreaking.
